An all-London affair at the Emirates brings the curtain down on Gameweek 17 this evening. Plenty of Fantasy favourites are on show as the Gunners look for the win that would extend their lead to four points over the chasing pack:

For the hosts, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are the main protagonists for Fantasy managers, whilst Theo Walcott will be looking to maintain the form that saw him score twice at the Etihad last weekend.

Jose Mourinho’s side roll up on the back of a poor form of form on the road. The Blues have been beaten in three of their last four away games in all competitions but know that a victory will draw them level with the Gunners on 36 points. Eden Hazard will be desperate to have his say before Fantasy managers turn our attentions to the Gameweek 18 fixtures on Boxing Day.

The team news sees the hosts make four changes from the side that lost 6-3 at City last time around. Kieran Gibbs and Thomas Vermaelen are drafted in for Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny at the back, with the Frenchman sidelined due to a knee wound. Mikel Arteta partners Aaron Ramsey in the double-pivot, with Mathieu Flamini dropping out, whilst Tomas Rosicky gets the nod on the left, replacing the suspended Jack Wilshere. Lukas Podolski warms the Gunners bench along with the likes of Santi Cazorla.

The Blues make three alterations from the XI that edged past Palace. Gary Cahill replaces David Luiz in defence, whilst John Obi Mikel and Frank Lampard are drafted into midfield – Michael Essien drops out through suspension while Juan Mata takes his place on the bench, allowing Ramires to move onto the right of the attacking midfield three. Oscar, Andre Schurrle and Samuel Eto’o are also amongst the subs, with Fernando Torres leading the line again.

Once again, we’ve opened the Dugout Discussion chatroom for those partial to some real-time reaction.

avoid Chelsea CS, one clean sheet doesn't justify it...as a rule hits rarely work for defenders. The two you are getting are not on pens and rarely get forward. Also full backs are less likely to get bonus so you'd need two clean sheets to justify it for the gameweek

I took an 8 point hit this week:

      Paulinho ( suspended ) > Silva ( 10 points )
      Aguero ( injured ) > Rooney ( 11 points )
      Ozil ( 3 points ) > Walcott ( 2 points )

I think that's a moderate success, especially if Ozil is rested on Thursday.

I think Walcott is the perfect captain this week for those who have him. Rooney not so sure on, but I'd bank on Theo grabbing some goals against a dinosaur defence.

Top of the league at Christmas. 😯

Top 4 surely realistic now? Draws Vs City and Chelsea would be fantastic. I still think its between Chelsea and City for the title, tbh. But if Loooey keeps this going, who knows. Dare to dream?

If he goes, it will be next summer at the earliest, IMO.

You're more than a one man team...although it's Suarez who is driving them on to play above and beyond themselves. Henderson, Sterling and co playing well above their billing.

Cmon Wakey Liverpool are most definitely a one man team.

Without Suarez the like of Sterling n Hendo wouldn't have the same level.

Yeah that's true and it's what I thought I said..he is the one making them play out of their skin in the same way SAF had players raise their game...However it comes about they are still performing really well and it's the players themselves who have to do it regardless of where the inspiration comes from..The telling stat is the number of chances created from the mids, they are streets ahead of other teams

Thoughts on Benteke to Giroud? Need Arsenal cover and will probably be a decent differential to those in my mini league now... Stats still healthy, fixtures healthy.. I guess other options are Lukaku or Ade/Sol?! Maybe dwngrade and upgrade MID to Walcott to give me Silva Hazard and Walcott in there with two big hitters uptop?
