Just seen the highlights of the last 2 Arsenal games.

Seen a massive change in position for Ramsey. Playing much deeper and not getting into the box.

Anyone else notice this? Or is this because it was against tough opposition?

more to do with the opposition I think and his change of role during these games.

Also the fact he is partnered with arteta v chelsea who I do not rate. Flamini and ramsey is a much better partnership and allows for ramsey to get forward a bit more.

Expect to see him get more forward next few games

Thought so, but the City game is a bit more telling cos Arsenal were looking for goals. Yet he ended up playing deep. I spose it was cos there was no Flamini or Arteta.

Think you're right on Flamini being crucial to Arsenal but Arteta distributes the ball really well in midfield. But I guess with Özil and Caz in the team, you dont need a distributor.

remember he did get an assist v city

He blanked v chelsea but nobody played v well attacking wise for both sides. Ramsey had a poor game but he actually setup giroud for probably the best chance of the game

is this risky or just plain stupid? i have the option with 2 ft's after this week to change my team around and try and catch up in my mini leagues. with my changes my team would look like this for the forseeable future. is it worth it to do something different?

    Krul

    Coleman,Riether,Mertesacker

    Hazard,Walcott,Cabaye,Silva,Mirallas

    Rooney,Suarez

    Bench is Mannone,Gabbidon,Chester,Rodriguez.

Is Cabaye really the best option going forward?

A lot of people are switching to Cabaye or suggesting to make the move. Newcastle have the fourth hardest set of fixtures over the next 6 games and in the next 9 games they have the hardest run based on fixtures.

Having said that, this year he has scored against Everton (A), Liverpool (H) and Man United (A) plus the goal against Crystal Palace.

    Newcastle's next nine:
    STO
    ARS
    wba
    MCI
    whm
    nor
    SUN
    che
    TOT

What are your thoughts on this as there are two big games versus Arsenal and Man City (albeit, they are at home) coming up and later on Chelsea (A) and Totteham (H). Is Cabaye worth a transfer in with this fixture run, or does it not bother you the slightest who they are playing?

Fixtures don't mean much when it comes to Newcastle.

he's scored in eve LIV CHE, so best to get him when he's hot.

City concede goals like they are going out of fashion, as do chelsea. Cabaye is on corners and free kicks, all it takes is one 🙂

Toughie that. You would think Luk has the kindest fixture but Sun have been showing some solid resilience of late. I can't see Suarez getting a big haul against Citeh but with him you never know.

Wally is a little punty but could happen If they have a field day against Hammers.
