After Wayne Rooney grabbed a goal and assist during United’s win at the KC earlier, it’s time to concentrate on a further feast of football this Boxing Day. We’re served up another nine games, with all but one of those kicking off at 3pm:

Romelu Lukaku earned third spot in this week’s Captain Poll ahead of Everton’s home clash against Sunderland. The big Belgian may have failed to find the net in the last four but with Wes Brown suspended and John O’Shea a doubt, he’ll be hoping for a return to form.

Spurs welcome West Brom to the Lane as Emmanuel Adebayor (who finished fourth in the Captain Poll) looks to repeat last Sunday’s brace against Southampton. Chelsea play host to Swansea, with Eden Hazard also carrying the armband hopes of many Fantasy managers into the Gameweek, as will Theo Walcott for Arsenal’s trip to West Ham.

Yohan Cabaye’s new owners will be looking for the Frenchman to maintain the consistency which has served up returns in eight of 12 appearances as Newcastle welcome Stoke to St James’ Park. Elsewhere, Villa play host to Palace, Cardiff go head-to-head with Southampton, whilst Norwich welcome Fulham to Carrow Road.

This leads us on to the final match of the Gameweek, where City’s 100% home record is on the line against Liverpool. The Fantasy sub-plot is intriguing – can Yaya Toure, David Silva and Alvaro Negredo produce the goods at the Etihad yet again? And just how many points will Luis Suarez rack up against a defence that has conceded three times to Arsenal and twice to both West Brom and Fulham in the last four Gameweeks alone?

If there’s one thing that seems certain, the evening encounter at the Etihad looks set to bring goals aplenty. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom remains open for those looking for some real-time banter right up until the final whistle of that last match.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

todays he misses a pen but i got lucky due to 2 stoke reds and he scores me double figure points.

    64 points post-baps. (278k, should be a green arrow)

later today (after more consideration) likely going:
    Howard + Ramsey + Lukaku > Mannone + Eriksen + Rooney for a -4.

pretty happy all around going into the weekend 😎

Categorically disagree. Tim Sherwood will use him in this new-look Spurs and they play Stoke on the weekend who have zero defense now thanks to injuries and red cards.

So Howard Ramsey -> Mannone Stering (-4). Yay?

If Negredo out then him to Rooney for further hit probably. I don't want to play gabbidon away to city

I'm thinking Ramsey --> Henderson/Sterling, after watching the game today Liverpool were v impressive going forward. I'm leaning towards Sterling, what d'you all think?

Howard suspended for only one game then.

I might as well save myself the hassle of finding a replacement and play with 10 players this weekend.

My cup game ended 41-41 post bps. Lucky for me as I had 2 scorers (Hazard, Cabaye) to his 1 scorer (Rooney). He was ranked 2m to me 200k. Lol I played Welbeck over Remy on bench.

Feel the need to bring in Walcott, Silva, Rooney this week but that would require a -8. Is this too much? Out will go Ozil, Ramsey & Welbeck.

Am I daft to just keep Howard this week, and just play with no keeper? It would involve a hit for me to replace him, and to get that back the team would need a CS, which is roving to be highly unpredictable!!

My heart went out to the "Triple Everton Defence" people ..... particularly if it contained Howard.

Before the game - it certainly looked like an interesting punt, home to a Sunderland missing key defenders -

The Arsenal midfielder faces a spell on the sidelines after injuring his thigh during the Gunners' 3-1 win at West Ham on Boxing Day, and could be out for a number of weeks

“It looks a thigh strain,” Wenger told reporters in his post-match press conference. “I don’t know how serious it is but the Christmas period is certainly over for him.”

Who would you add to that midfield? I can put together 10.4m; so money isn't a concern.

    A) Hazard (No Chelsea cover)
    B) Silva (I also have Negredo)
    C) Ozil
    D) Other (who?)

    Negredo vs Lukaku

After Kun injury, decided to go w/Lukaku over negredo just because had no Eve coverage for their great fixtures. Unfort, Luk's form not ideal.

For a hit -4 keep lukaku or drop for Negredo... already have Silva.

    yes or no?
