After a less than fulfilling Saturday, Fantasy managers will be looking to Sunday’s fare with huge expectations and the hope that today’s returns can rescue respectability.

The bill certainly looks talented enough, with Roberto Martinez’s Everton hosting Southampton and leaders Arsenal making the trip to in-form Newcastle – both those matches bristle with goals and could well offer a strong platform for the today’s four o’clock kick-offs.

Those are undoubtedly headlined by the battle of the Bridge where Luis Suarez and Liverpool face off against Chelsea in what promises to be a tumultuous affair. Whether it will bring goals and points for Suarez is another matter.

While hopes will be high for that encounter, Tottenham’s White Hart Lane clash with Stoke perhaps offers less on paper, although Tim Sherwood’s new broom could yet unearth some key Fantasy assets for 2014 with today’s clash providing an opportunity to scout out the potential on offer.

As usual, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet updates from these matches, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to take you through to the final whistles.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm on 49 with 8 players and no captain and I'm happy with that. Depends on how many players you had playing I suppose.

    The Suarez Effect:

Probably everyone is worrying about the lack of goals In Suarez's goals in the last two games, but what can you expect, a hat trick against Man City and Chelsea?

Besides that over exaggeration, we can all agree Suarez has had a giant impact on Fantasy Premier League users in a colossal way.

So what I want to know, is that a positive or negative effect?

Compare the first 6 game weeks in FPL to the last 6 game weeks. This would go back to Suarez's 4 goal game against Norwich.

Did you get more points during the first 6 GW's, or the last 6 GW's? (Counting transfer deductions)

    First 6: 321 points

    Last 6: 400 points

it's probably a bad thing because there are less decisions to make when Suarez (c) is obvious.

ML leader nearly hit 70, all that I took out of him last week has gone and he's a serial copier, am fully expecting him to bring Ki in this week, even though he's probably never heard of him.

Still, there's still 19 GWs and a wc to go, so I'm still confident. How are things looking for you

      Lukaku (9) & Ramsey (0) > Rooney (0) & Januzaj (1) for a hit.

      Net loss = 12 points

BUT Lukaku's been in bad form and nobody knew about Rooney's injury. It's harsh but it happens.

I think he is definitely due one. But he has always been dangerous from the bench. So hopefully if rested, Everton would be drawing/losing and will have to bring him on

    Mig
    Coleman Evans Ivanovic
    Bannan Cabaye Januzaj Hazard
    Suarez(c) Lukaku Negredo

    Bench - Ravel, Chester, Burner

    Have £1.8m in bank

    A. Ivanovic > Koscielny

    B. Ivan > Kos + Ravel > Lallana/Henderson

    C. Suggestions? depends on Ivan injury and whether Januzaj expected to start

Would you start Ravel (and hope he starts) or just play it safe with Ward?

(Think I prefer Ward either way tbh..)

      I'd just play Ward.

      Especially if he continues OOP
