After a less than fulfilling Saturday, Fantasy managers will be looking to Sunday’s fare with huge expectations and the hope that today’s returns can rescue respectability.

The bill certainly looks talented enough, with Roberto Martinez’s Everton hosting Southampton and leaders Arsenal making the trip to in-form Newcastle – both those matches bristle with goals and could well offer a strong platform for the today’s four o’clock kick-offs.

Those are undoubtedly headlined by the battle of the Bridge where Luis Suarez and Liverpool face off against Chelsea in what promises to be a tumultuous affair. Whether it will bring goals and points for Suarez is another matter.

While hopes will be high for that encounter, Tottenham’s White Hart Lane clash with Stoke perhaps offers less on paper, although Tim Sherwood’s new broom could yet unearth some key Fantasy assets for 2014 with today’s clash providing an opportunity to scout out the potential on offer.

As usual, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet updates from these matches, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to take you through to the final whistles.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Injury update Frank Lampard has a muscular injury and will miss some matches. Ivanovic's injury is painful but not serious.

Seems like the order of the day, so any help guys?

    De Gea
    Mert, Kompany, Distin
    Walcott, Hazard, Whitts, Brunt
    Negredo, Lukaku, Suarez (c)

    Gazzaniga, Burner, AWilliams, Silva*

1 FT. Save it or remove Silva? I fancy Oscar punt.

Got my Silva tip horribly wrong, though it was 6 days before the CRY match

I'll redeem myself in the easiest possible manner

Arsenal front 6 (barring any injuries i'm not aware of) :

    Arteta Flamini

    Walcott Wilshere Cazorla

    Giroud

Whatever happens, Cazorla will start and Podolski won't. Thank me later

So, Silva > Caz (2-3 week punt), yes or no?

I'll make a separate post of this since I've seen a few asking and done some research.

This guy works at Fulham and confirmed on twitter today that Clint Dempsey is NOT available for the West Ham game since you need to actually register the loans in January - you can't pre-register them so to speak - and the game is too early then.

Here is the thread, our man is @RobertOrdever

    https://twitter.com/willlytle/status/417104729362415617

Twitter search also came up with someone who claimed that Sarah Brooks, Communications Director Fulham, confirmed last night that this is indeed the case.

Just passed halfway in the season...

    Migs, Boruc

    Coleman, Evans, Mertesacker, Gabbidon, Shaw

    Yaya, Barkley, Hazard, Morrison, Walcott

    Suarez, Rooney, Lukaku

    1FT 0.0 in bank.

Which would you say is the highest priority given the upcoming wildcard?

    1) Morrison replacement
    2) new sub keeper
    3) Mignolet replacement
    4) Save transfer and correct Migs and Boruc after Liverpools home game to Hull without w/c (given no injuries/form changes)

Not planning on using wildcard early in January as wanting to wait for Aguero return. Any thoughts?
