Saturday serves up no fewer than seven Premier League encounters, beginning at the KC Stadium where a resolute Hull City host Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.

Proceedings continue with five three-o’clock encounters, before United’s tumultuous campaign continues with a re-acquaintance with their recent FA Cup slayers, Swansea.

For now, our attention is drawn to Humberside, where the likes of Eden Hazard and Oscar will carry our hopes against a Hull outfit that has been miserly on their own turf.

With just six goals conceded, no defence has put up a stronger barrier than Steve Bruce’s well-drilled backline at home – suggesting that Mourinho’s men will face a challenge in our early kick-off. The aforementioned Hazard and Oscar combination has so far conjured six goals on its travels and the burden is likely to be on the two playmakers over the next 90 minutes.

As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet news, while our Duguout Discussion chatroom has opened up to cater for your real-time requirements for this game and all of today’s matches.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ashley Cole really isn't the defender he was, legs are definitely starting to go a bit. Think Elmohamady is going to continue causing problems...

I wish Kolarov was a certain starter. So much potential for huge scores.

I opted for the 'safe' Zabaleta. But 6.0m is expensive when there is Azpil, Chiriches, Nastasic available.

He's about as good as is likely to be available this window anyone I can't see many of the really big names being interested in a move so close to Brazil unless they aren't getting game time and then that would suggest they aren't world class.

Yeh I agree there is very little pressure coming from the real United fans I don't think any would mind missing out on the CL one season as long as its for the long term good.

Thing is, if we miss out, it won't be for the long term good i think. Will be very hard to attract the bigger players outside of CL. Also, you can consider RvP and Rooney gone if that happens, maybe even Januzaj.

I'm still 100% behind Moyes, but if we miss out on CL we're deep in it.

Hull are really clogging up the sides not sure why Chelsea aren't trying to build up through the middle of the pitch more. They are playing like utter crap.

Huddlestone is on 2, so it's updating.

I'm actually cheering on Hull more than Hazard. #Priorities

    Tight game so far.

Hull good at locking down the Chelsea midfield so far. No shots on target for the London team.

Hull is defending well, relatively deeply. But have had some chances, and Sagbo should have scored after Terry's howler.

Might see Hull go 1-0 up within the next 10mins.

Agree. Would cue Mata and Schurrle double sub from Mou probably early in second half if not at halftime

Kevin de Bruyne's transfer from Chelsea to VfL Wolfsburg is now very close to completion.

There are only a few financial details to be decided between the clubs, such as bonus payments to Chelsea if Wolfsburg win/qualify for competitions.

What baffles me is that de Bruyne chose Wolfsburg over other German clubs who expressed an interest. Equally, the player made disparaging remarks about Germany while he was living in the very nice city of Bremen. Wolfsburg has the Volkswagen factory, and precious little else. Can't see him being happy in a town like that.
