Thoughts on future gametime for Mirallas and Whittingham? Whittingham was subbed off for the first time this season, although it wasn't for Eikrum like everyone assumed (he's played 1957 out of 1980 minutes). Mirallas played in-the-hole tonight, and McGeady didn't replace him when he came on. I still worry about Deulofeu coming back, however.

I thought it would go without saying but I guess it needs mentioning..these are NOT steadfast rules that I will be abiding by, just bits of advice that are good to keep in mind on a week to week basis as FPL, just like football, is fraught with emotion and it's easy to get caught up in a whirlwind on a match day and regret your move shortly thereafter..
think about the word TRY appearing before each of these..they are just guidelines after all and CERTAINLY not steadfast rules..
1. Use one free transfer per gameweek tops, do not take hits if you can't justify it logically.
2. Keep a player you've transferred in for at least few matches.
3. A hit should be worthwhile for more than one gameweek.
4. Don't take hits for punts.
5. Don't focus too much on price changes, 4 points is often better than 0.1m.
6. Save vanilla WC for after the Jan WC.
7. Think clearly, don't get caught up in "chasing last week's points".
8. Sleep on a big transfer decision before making it.
9. Try to wait to make your transfers until there are no more games your current players might play before the next PL game. Last thing you want is to bring someone in early and then have to take a hit due to injuries/suspensions from late/midweek games. (i.e. Coleman today..)
10. Focus on nailed on players.
11. Wait for official confirmation from the club before knee-jerking and ditching a good player.
12. Be mindful of the exact price when a player is set to drop as oftentimes that single 0.1m doesn't change your selling price yet.
13. Careful of players linked heavily with moves out of the league during January.

Take a punt, gamble on a player for a GW, dont let the big transfer drive you mad for days and ask 50 time in here about it - be decisive and do it! Chase last weeks points and play your WC whenever you like cos no matter what BS people come up with about this season or last season there is no formula...
