While the clash between Stoke and Wolves at the Britannia hardly smacks of a footballing classic, the result and Fantasy returns from tonight’s Premier League encounter certainly have significance to our gameweek 34 Fantasy returns.

Over in Germany meanwhile, United take on Schalke for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final – we just know that there will be a few “opinions” floating around on that one.

Use this thread to discuss tonight’s action then and, if you fancy some real-time interactivity, you can pop in to our Dugout Discussion chatroom which is now open.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I always found that at school. I've always lived in the south west and was born here and supported united and always got ripped.

But friends and school mates who were born in around here who supported, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs never seemed to realise that was the same thing (except for the glory supporting excuse of course).

When Utd are winning there are only 2 insults left. a) You are a glory hunter, b) You don't support your local team. Both have been cracked out numerous times on here over the last few weeks. Sign of good times! 😀

There is very little reason for a londoner to support Man Utd. There are loads of good London teams to support (& some sh1t ones too that need the fans)

This is why I hate Man United. Why do people support them over their local team?

Most people's lives don't revolve around Football teams. A job is usually the most important thing, therefore you live where you can get the best one. Everything else is irrelevant. My local team is now Arsenal, i think you can guess i won't be supporting them.

I'm from a decent sized town that has no football team (rugby league is the religion) we all support different sides; Dad is a koppite, eldest bro a Manc, older bro #2 a season ticket holding Everton fan, and me being awkward.
Made matchdays fun as a kid. F**k knows the reason I picked 'em, they were proper shit back then. Just for the lulz I suppose.

Nope Cheggers, St.Helens. Suppose Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere would be geographically the closest, but there's loads of teams around there. Wigan and the two Mancs too.
Still sort of suprised that I ended up with Newcastle though, think I they were near the bottom of the league when I started supporting them. Must have just beat Everton or something.

I support Drogheda United, a team that has been relegated or in the relegation playoff for 3 years running. I've had a season ticket the years before this but not anymore, I also support Man united, is that so bad?
