        Last page Demi reported the Times said Rooney is unlikely to play. Given RVP was scheduled to return this week according to PhysioRoom wondering what his situation is.

          I would not do that, only because Adrian is not a definite starter, and you'd have no back up.
          At least Mannone is pretty secure.

    I've been severely hampered by my Team Value when putting together my wildcard.

    This happens year in year out.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Not wildcarding in September?
    Not making transfers early in the week?

        Usually need to catch bandwagons early enough.
        Ramsey, Coleman and toure to think of three.
        It also helps if some of bandwagons get injured and make you sell them to get profit.
        Look how well Ramsey and aguero early owners did out of them

            May seem over the top but my hand was forced. Lallana likely to do nothing against arsenal, Negredo is useless and is injured, Coleman out, Chester out, parr out and had pennant has my midfielder who has been released. Maybe could of got away with a -12. But thats about it

        sept wildcarding leaves you messy when league cup final and 6th round f.a cup matches screw with the later gameweeks...but then those dgw's are beset with rotations.....

        early week trannys....i hate these...my player i 'early tranny' always more or less picks up a 'knock' training friday...

          I usually try to keep 2nd wildcard until the FA cup/league cup/weather conspire to make a monster gameweek but I used it early this year and am dreading later in the season when the monster comes along

        Same here, my tv is 104.7... But had a disasterous start, and rarely had Yaya/Hazard etc.

        Had to settle for:
        Adrian/Mannone
        Distin/Kosc/Azpi/Bruce/Ward
        Ramsey(Johnson if not fit)/Mata/Oscar/Noone/Eriksen
        Suarez/Aguero/Bony zilch in bank

          i love a hit early on.
          catch the rises and the points.
          then just chil it out till double gws and cacellations towards the end.
          only my second season but i think its my preffererd strategy

        Definite dilemma here between what looks like good value (Yoshida at 4m) and no confidence in the player, due to his complete lack of aerial ability. Not sure he would even stick in the team.

            Yoshida's a CB who's almost useless in the air imo. Got exposed not just for Southampton last year, but for Japan too. All his other attributes are a little bit overshadowed by that.

              How many blanks in GW 28 does your current WC team have?

              I have 7 which is not good at all. If GW 29 ends up with a bunch of blanks too (at least some are inevitable) I can see it being a miserable couple of weeks. We're going to have to just take some transfer buy back costs to get full teams out.

                    Technically since one is a keeper it's no big deal, and yes as it gets closer they will get trimmed down, just hope unforeseen forced transfers don't get in the way.

                    That's my selling price and I was considering selling him to raise some funds for Mata, but then I came to my senses.

                    Really no option but to keep him for the season if you bought at 5.0
