Hey guys i need to beat my mate who is about 40 ahead which isnt a worry just yet but our players are close to the same besides Adrian(Marshall),Fabio(Rosenior),Armero(Ward) Yoshida(Molsen),Mirallas(Lallana) and im sure he will be doing Cazorla - Silva its an obvious trade .
Should i do this to ? Or is Liverpool and Man U's defence weak enough to play him or are there other ligitimate options say up until say GW 29 to get rid of to a Man U/City player
If not to trade out Cazorla what should i do ?

    Have 0 in the bank

    Azpi,Evans,Yoshida

Cazorla did really well against Liverpool the first time around and I'm sure he be good again. Liverpool and Manchester Utd are struggling defensively right now. Agger might be back for the Arsenal game but Liverpool lack a good RB/LB at the moment as well.

I don't think ManU def is a good shout at this moment Evans to some other solid def could earn you more points in the long run, but this week they play Fulham so it's not bad to keep him in for this week. I think you have a solid team 40 pts is not too far away just need a few good captain week. Cheers.

Had planned to go double Chelsea D starting wk25. After today's game though I have a feeling if ManC's shot conversion had been any where near its usual efficiency we'd be talking about how many SIB Chelsea conceded. Cause for concern?

Nope. I only remember one decent chance that City had. A shot, even one in the box, is not necessarily on opportunity as any amount of watching Dzeko will attest.

Usually less. It's correlated to the number of legitimate scoring chances conceded, but it is by no means the same thing. City only conceded 8 chances in the box and 1 goal, but they gave Chelsea 7 or 8 clear-cut scoring opportunities. Chelsea only gave City one, maybe two.

Don't think so Shadow. We always seem to concede many SIB in big away games as we play deeper.

If anything, it showed how the defenders are good source of attacking points. You can't go wrong with any 4 (possibly 5. If you incl Luiz)

thinking of doing Williamson + Colback > Flanagan + Jedinak/Noone next gameweek.

that will leave me only Mata, Yaya and RVP to worry about.

then since RVP's price is going nowhere, I'll just ship him for someone else for GW28 and then bring him back in for GW29.

I don't like having midfielders capable of being rotated and everyone is going to have a headache with GW28.

Jedinak is a solid guaranteed 2 points if I need it. Spurs defense is not great and Noone was a nightmare for City to handle, I can only imagine how bad a time a scrub like Danny Rose will have defending him.

these are the compromises you make by having a stupidly strong front 7 😉

since I only just got Yaya now I could also drop him for GW28 (ESPECIALLY if City beat Chelsea in the FA Cup as City will have another blank on GW29) so the situation is actually very manageable (since I'm not averse to hits)

              fair enough then

lets see which strategy would work on GW 28 & 29

i'm going with mid priced rotation on midfield

remember, noone and jedinak are cheap for a reason 😉

yeah, price assignment from FPL Towers and then percent ownership 😉

I think having 2 FT for GW28 and swapping out RVP and Yaya could be a huge differential..that and not taking a hit and having an XI to field.

    B. Ozil -> Lallana
    C. Gerrard -> Lallana

If I do B or C I'll have to play one of my two Arsenal defenders
If I do A I'll bench both of them (and play Collins, Ward and Azpilicueta)

Don't wanna take any point hits this week so I'm gunna do one of these three transfers because Turner is useless, Gerrard and playing way too deep and Ozil is out of form and is a waste of money.

I already have plenty of money in the bank (exactly enough to be able to do Turner -> Azpi) so maybe I should give Ozil one more week, he's been unlucky not to score in each of his last 2 games imo and he could do well against a Liverpool side who are vulnerable at the back without Lucas.

So Glenn Murray is set to return to Palace this week. He was Palace's talisman up until his injury last season. How do you think he will fare when he comes back?

Goals in championship is much easier than against the defensive powerhouses of Arsenal, City and Chelsea. I'd expect he'll probably struggle initially but then could be worth a look in.

Surprised by 1 baps from YaYa. He couldn't stop finding a way to tease non-owners. 😆

Btw, I finally can keep my team in top 100k more than a week.

Next is to break 50k. Not so confident this GW though.

    Best C choice this GW?

Unreliable United. Rotation City. SAS vs Arsenal DF. Ade vs Everton DF.

Hey lads, appreciate any advice for moves this week:

    Boruc Davis
    Kos Coleman Olsson Ward Bruce
    Cazorla Mata Hazard Eriksen Noone
    Bony Benteke Suarez

    3.4 ITB

Time to drop Ars defense? Or maybe Coleman.. looking to get a chels defender in...

Should I give Bony one more week at home against Cardiff?

Clearly I need a city player too, lucked out with their shut out this week. Want to get Silva in probably. He looked dangerous today just a bit unlucky. Could do Eriksen to Silva...

    Thanks for any advice!

I'm a little concerned about RVP game time.

JUst three days after the Fulham game Man U are away to Arsenal in the league.
When you think Moyes removed him when they were losing against Stoke , think how quickly he will take him out if they are beating Fulham

This might be the deal breaker as far as I'm concerned , may just hold onto Sturridge and hope for the best, may lose a bit of ground this week if RVP does well , but should make it up with Sturridges Better fixtures and more gametime

I'm a little scared of the RVP captain brigade this week .

It quite feasible that SUarez and Sturridge both get 2 points this week , and with armband on Suarez that a disaster. We'll it is if RVP scores a couple of goals , will be a huge swing , something I'm desperate to avoid

Consider that it's quite unfeasible he'll be rested entirely with the state of Unites position.
60 minutes is enough for him to do good damage and the fitter he gets the less likely he is to be taken off in precarious circumstances.
If he's rested while United are ahead..then he's more than likely had some kind of involvement because.. well.. he's RVP.
Honestly though.. I'd captain Suarez vs Arsenal if you don't have him.. he's the best player in the league and is the most likely player to get goal/assist combos on any given week

    Boruc
    Coleman Kosc Ward
    Ozil Hazard Mata HBA
    Suarez Dzeko Jrod

Foster, Burner, Pozuelo, Chester + 7.6m banked

    B) Ozil & Pozuelo > Mirallas and Lallana (-4)
    C) Chester & Pozuelo > Lallana/Mirallas and Cahill (-4)

Yeah I got rid of Ozil two weeks ago, he's definitely a waste of money atm. If you're set on keeping HBA then get rid of Ozil for Lallana/Yaya and upgrade Chester. You could take an additional hit to get rid of Poz but a -8 may be a bit much.

Yeah -8 is too much. Can deal with a -4, but if I do take a hit, would rather take it for a mid though, Poz (for Mirallas) and bench HBA. Mid would line up Lallana Mata Hazard Mirallas for the week, which seems decent. Everton should still get sth at Tottenham. Thoughts Innsie?

Yeah that sounds good. Mirallas has some free kicks and corners too which further boosts his appeal. Would give you a benching dilemma in future weeks but that's not a bad thing with the uncertainty around blanks etc.

I'd drop Ozil, Kosc and HBA. Dzeko also might not feature much once Negredo is fit as Jovetic looked good.

Think i'll keep Kosc and bench if possible. Want to drop Ozil and Pozuelo as HBA still will have a game on 28. The uncertain game time for Dzeko comes with the territory so i'm fine with that, unless he's dropped completely.

Mirallas and Lallana will have games on GW28, maybe on 29 as well. Next week can fix Chester. Could line up like this for GW28 with the blank.

        Boruc

GW29 matches in danger of being postponed:
          West Ham v Hull
          Cardiff v Fulham (double trouble)
Crystal Palace v Southampton or Liverpool v Sunderland
Man City v Villa or Chelsea v Spurs
Newcastle v Everton or Arsenal v Swansea
Arsenal v Swansea or Liverpool v Sunderland

with West Brom v Man United and Norwich v Stoke happening regardless:
At most we could see 7 games played.
Worst case scenario we could see only 3 games played.

I don't have Rvp. I have Mata, though. And Dzeko is another option that i'm considering.

I don't even have the balls to keep him with my WC after holding onto him so long and went with Bony. I'm totally screwed this year.

That was a huge mistake. JRod has been fantastic.
And me too, this season has been a nightmare.

Totally fell for that Bony unnecessarily love that time.

Nightmare is definitely the word. Yaya is the monster.

If I get Lambert, I'd captain him.

          👿 my last draft too.

I only blame myself for not believing in myself. It's cool. Besides, massive 3 points for us has me in a great mood 😀

    Evening gents, bit of a poser for you to offer an opinion on;

Thinking of going with a Utd (C) against Fulham, currently have Mata (C) & Rooney, but would you think it would be worth -4pts to go Mata & RVP (C)?

    On paper it looks incredibly sideways, but RVP could tear Fulham a new one and Rooney has been playing quite deep. Rest of team is;

    Mannone
    Ward - Davies - Collins
    Hazard - Cazorla - Eriksen - Mata
    Suarez - Dzeko - Rooney
    Marshall - Gnarby - Toure - Williamson
    0FT - 4.6ITB

    Thanks all

1 FT & 0.7 banked. Thinking Chester to Demel, is there another defender 4.6 I should consider?

    Boruc
    Sagna - Kolarov - Ward
    Navas - Oscar - Eriksen - Mata
    RvP - Bony - Suarez

    Davis -- Pozuelo - Hudson - Chester

Can't remember if Reid is 4.6 or 4.7 but get him if you can. If not, Demel is a good option with those fixtures.

Save your FT then take out Kolarov and Chester next week for Reid and Azpi?

    Dzeko, Sturridge or Negredo?

I currently have no City players and only Suarez from Liverpool.

If I spend the money on Studge or Negredo I only have enough for a cheap mid next week - possibly Zaha, whom I'd rotate with Ki. If I got Dzeko I'd get Eriksen next week.

    So essentially:

    A) Dzeko, Eriksen
    B) Negredo, Zaha/Ki (rotation)
    C) Sturridge, Zaha/Ki (rotation)

I had that same decision and went with Dzeko purely because of the lack of 'coverage'. Personally I'd say Dzeko/Zaha is a good option and frees up some cash, Sturridge is certainly making a case for himself though, could do with him blanking against Arsenal

Tough call. Even Jovetic could be a good pick.
