Gameweek nine is concluded today with the final three fixtures taking place. The first of a televised double-bill, sees Manchester United take that dreaded annual trip to the Britannia Stadium.

There’s no surprise that Wayne Rooney is an absentee for the visitors, and that hands an opportunity to young Javier Hernandez to partner Dimitar Berbatov upfront. Elsewhere, Gary Neville gets a game a right-back, pushing John O’Shea into a midfield position.

The home side line-up as predicted. Boring…

Stoke City XI: Sorensen, Huth, Shawcross, Faye, Collins, Pennant, Wilson, Delap, Etherington, Walters, Jones

Man United XI: Van der Sar, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, O’Shea, Scholes, Nani, Hernandez, Berbatov

Then it’s off to Eastlands for the interesting match-up between Man City and Arsenal, where I need a Tevez no-show to stand any chance of a round three place in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III.

That games kicks off at 4pm, but before that (and untelevised thankfully) is Blackburn’s visit to Anfield at 3pm.

For up-to-the-minute fantasy updates, head over to our Dugout Discussion for the day’s action where, if Morrissey1986 is in attendance, you’ll get goal alerts before they’re even broadcast.

Good to see Citeh getting totally humiliated on their own turf. 😉

P.S. David Silva is lightyears ahead of any of the other City wingers. I thought he was class today.

Ha. You still maintaining that he's crap?!

In the time he's been on the pitch vs Blackpool and Arsenal, he's been Citeh's best player by an absolute mile.

All this stuff about 'Why isn't Adam Johnson starting for City'.... Lemme think. Is Silva better than him? Hell yes. Is Milner better than him? Yes.

All right, crap is a bit too hard obviously and he might be better than Milner. He's just astonishingly overrated.

Apart from that Blackpool cameo and apparently the Lech Poznan tie he's done nothing good in 12 months of football. Did his very best to ruin Spain's world cup run as well.

I'm by no way a big Johnson and Milner admirer either tbh.

I don't have him, so you'll just say I'm biased no doubt, but Carroll headed in onto the back of the defenders head. It's not like the Bale one where only the height of the ball was changed, the deflection completely changed overall direction of the ball. I'd be surprised if it's given, but stranger things have happened in FPL.

So Arsenals rubbish defence kept a clean sheet.....

City humiliated, in reality the league is a two horse race between the London clubs, both Manc teams showed today that they will fight it out for 3rd and 4th.

Different class was there for all to see today.

Yeah I don't really want to be drawn into a big club fight here, but I was not impressed by them.

Loved that City were trounced tonight to be honest, they've been fortunate this season.

In the cup I'm on 44 with no hits
My opponent is on 41 with Coleman to come off the bench and Nasris BP's.

I've only done the 10 games in the Prem a few times (measly £1 bets). Usually around 800/1 (or so) I've got.

I remember when I did it about 3 years ago and had EVERY one right going into the last game, Newcastle v Derby. As Derby only had about 5 points and it was December I thought it was pretty much a shoe in. 2-2, and I've hated Newcastle ever since.

I take it that I'm in a minority that thinks Fabregas deserved to be MOTM? The guy is different class. Nasri was excellent too, but Cesc is unrivalled.

Cesc was good, but Nasri should be given the three bp's IMO. Best player on the pitch today for me.

Ignoring cashley has cost me too much so am joining the bandwagon ..

... have cash so will do it .. though who would people swap out for him? Ie Konchesky or Dann? Am thinking Konchesky

Could also do Foley though wont leave me any cash for other future changes.
