Gameweek nine is concluded today with the final three fixtures taking place. The first of a televised double-bill, sees Manchester United take that dreaded annual trip to the Britannia Stadium.

There’s no surprise that Wayne Rooney is an absentee for the visitors, and that hands an opportunity to young Javier Hernandez to partner Dimitar Berbatov upfront. Elsewhere, Gary Neville gets a game a right-back, pushing John O’Shea into a midfield position.

The home side line-up as predicted. Boring…

Stoke City XI: Sorensen, Huth, Shawcross, Faye, Collins, Pennant, Wilson, Delap, Etherington, Walters, Jones

Man United XI: Van der Sar, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, O’Shea, Scholes, Nani, Hernandez, Berbatov

Then it’s off to Eastlands for the interesting match-up between Man City and Arsenal, where I need a Tevez no-show to stand any chance of a round three place in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III.

That games kicks off at 4pm, but before that (and untelevised thankfully) is Blackburn’s visit to Anfield at 3pm.

For up-to-the-minute fantasy updates, head over to our Dugout Discussion for the day’s action where, if Morrissey1986 is in attendance, you’ll get goal alerts before they’re even broadcast.

Is it worth taking a four point hit to double up on Arsenal players next week

    Doing Gerrard -> Fab
But thinking also Adam/Nolan -> Nasri

Had money put aside to get Arteta in with free sub in GW 11 but thinking Arsenal may just destroy the hammers

Oh yeah, Mancini's tactics and subs were awful. He's the only manager in the league who, at 1-0 down, would try and play for a 0-0.

I know he had to deal with Boyata's early sending off and stuff, but withdrawing Toure for crappy Bridge was foolish. Arsenal only play with one up front, so he might as well have kept it with one centre half and matched Arsenal man for man in midfield.

Man City may have a bottomless pit of cash, and Mancini may be a lovely guy with a decent taste in clothes, but they'll never win the league with him in charge.

Christ I have decision and a half to make now.

      It's basically either:
      Nasri > Fabregas
      or
      Malouda > Fabregas

But Malouda has nice fixtures and doubling up on Arsenal midfield I'm not convinced is the way to go.

The rest of the midfield-attack is Adam Nani VDV / Carroll Berbatov Drogba

      Any suggestions?

And Although my cup tie was basically in the bag yesterday, I have only actually won by 1 point. Lovely BP judges don't you think ?
