Gameweek 27 concludes with three matches that address both title ambitions and relegation concerns.

Liverpool’s credentials as title challengers will come under the spotlight as they clash with Swansea at Anfield. The visitors come into the game potentially leg weary after their fine performance against Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday. In contrast, Brendan Rodgers side will be fresh and looking build on their last two home appearances which has seen them claim nine goals against the Everton and Arsenal defences.

Elsewhere, Newcastle will be looking to stem the tide of three straight defeats without a goal as they face up to Villa at St James’ Park. Paul Lambert’s side will be seeking to come away from the North East with at least a point to consolidate their position outside of the relegation places.

Events then conclude at Carrow Road, with Norwich battling to keep themselves out of the bottom three and hoping to get a result against a Totteham outfit that struck four goals on their last away trip at Newcastle.

    From this lot, Rooney and Mata have no fixture this GW and Kolarov/Negredo no fixture for 2 GWs.

    I could line up like this but need to transfer the players in caps:

          think the difference then was aguero was having a bit of a mare of a season coupled with his usual injury troubles. this season he's not just re-found his 1st season form but has pushed on another level to 1 in 1 scorer. really think he's worth re-visiting for you

    Any thoughts on this plan:

    Suarez to Rooney in gw29 for extra cover. Then to Aguero for the dgw in gw31. I have Sturridge and he has outperformed Suarez so many times lately it is time to admit Sturridge is a better pick and with blanks and dgws there are better options for Suarez. Would you agree with this?

        Nope. Suarez is the better player and should outscore Sturridge. Whether that's worth the extra price is another matter.

          Id agree Suarez is the better player but he is not as effective with Sturridge on the pitch. Sturridge is a better fantasy football pick.

            Kolarov was almost certain to start after Clichy playing 90 minutes in both the Chelsea and Barcelona games.

        There is not really an obvious replacement as I still reckon STurridge, Suarez & Aguero are the 3 best strikers.

        Unless Rooney or RVP can start producing big I think I will stick.
