The rise and shiners up and at ’em early are rewarded with another Dugout Discussion built around a triple-header of televised action for the second week in a row – and it’s a big one.

Another early West Midlands derby starts us off with Wolves playing host to West Brom and Mick McCarthy looking to capitalise on the lack of points picked up by his relegation rivals yesterday. Following that, a potter across to Stoke will then see Arsenal facing off against Tony Pulis’ men in our mid-afternoon kick-off

Then we head north to close out with what could prove to be the biggest game of the season. Manchester United play host to Chelsea and a win for United will all but guarantee a 19th title for Fergie’s men while if the Blues can pull the rug from under them then they’ll steal first place and leave a race for the title in the final two gameweeks like to come down to goal difference.

Line-ups from our noon kick-off after the break…

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Foley, Craddock, Mancienne, Elokobi, Guedioura, Henry, O’Hara, Hunt, Ward, Fletcher.

West Brom XI: Carson, Jara, Meite, Olsson, Shorey, Tchoyi, Morrison, Mulumbu, Thomas, Cox, Odemwingie.

The visitors bring in Somen Tchoyi for the suspended Paul Scharner while Jerome Thomas is back to full fitness ousting Carlos Vela to the bench. The home side also make a couple of changes from their last game as Matt Jarvis is dropped to the bench in favour of Stephen Hunt (“[he’s] bursting to play – I think he’s got a goal in him today” – Mick McCarthy) and Adlene Guedioura takes up Richard Stearman’s spot.

The Dugout Discussion will be with us through all this action until the bonus points get handed down and we get our jerking our knees.

I dont get the constant Arsenal critism.

Everyone knows they dont have a solid defence - they conceede and "oh look its Arsenal again failing"

Besides they arent in the Title race - yet every week its brought up as a negatvive. Are City out of the title race? Were they in it even to begin with?

Its not if Wenger has spent 250 million and failed.

They havent spent, arent in death, built a huge stadium have one of the better squads and have a weak spine.

Of all things going wrong in the PL what Wenger has done with Arsenal (hasnt he spent less than Wigan? ) is nothing to be scoffed at.

They arent title condentors as everyone says - yet are critised for not being what everyone agrees .

          Strange barometer.

Spurs down the road are spending far much, far more debt, smaller stadium , far more underperforming players
          -

But yet the French dude needs his p45 .

But with Fabs and Nasri out he is playing both as creator and finisher.

So has to come deeper due to lack of others stepping up

There was one situation in that first half were he was on the left flank, looked up and the only two players we had in the area to cross to were Walcott and arshavin. Surrounded by shawcross and huth.
Needless to say he didn't cross.

So is Drogba worth a punt next week for his Chelsea SB goodbye? Even if the title is gone?

Newcastle look in perfect condition for a thumping (sorry attila) . Safe and sound, players out injured and summer around the corner.

              😕

The only reason I brought up the fact that you two are Irish is because you were defending an Irish player. I wasn't saying you are mugs because you are Irish, I was just saying that you are both Irish, and also mugs - I was joking with JU, but not with you.

I'm sure the term 'mug' cut you deep, and for that I apologise. Won't happen again.

Only the term 'Irish' isn't offensive in the slightest, whereas 'n*gger' quite clearly is.

"What has being Irish got to do with it?"

I just found it amusing that the three people who leapt to Hunt's defence were all Irish.
