The rise and shiners up and at ’em early are rewarded with another Dugout Discussion built around a triple-header of televised action for the second week in a row – and it’s a big one.

Another early West Midlands derby starts us off with Wolves playing host to West Brom and Mick McCarthy looking to capitalise on the lack of points picked up by his relegation rivals yesterday. Following that, a potter across to Stoke will then see Arsenal facing off against Tony Pulis’ men in our mid-afternoon kick-off

Then we head north to close out with what could prove to be the biggest game of the season. Manchester United play host to Chelsea and a win for United will all but guarantee a 19th title for Fergie’s men while if the Blues can pull the rug from under them then they’ll steal first place and leave a race for the title in the final two gameweeks like to come down to goal difference.

Line-ups from our noon kick-off after the break…

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Foley, Craddock, Mancienne, Elokobi, Guedioura, Henry, O’Hara, Hunt, Ward, Fletcher.

West Brom XI: Carson, Jara, Meite, Olsson, Shorey, Tchoyi, Morrison, Mulumbu, Thomas, Cox, Odemwingie.

The visitors bring in Somen Tchoyi for the suspended Paul Scharner while Jerome Thomas is back to full fitness ousting Carlos Vela to the bench. The home side also make a couple of changes from their last game as Matt Jarvis is dropped to the bench in favour of Stephen Hunt (“[he’s] bursting to play – I think he’s got a goal in him today” – Mick McCarthy) and Adlene Guedioura takes up Richard Stearman’s spot.

The Dugout Discussion will be with us through all this action until the bonus points get handed down and we get our jerking our knees.

3 months ago i stated on here that United were the 2nd best team on the planet.

Amongst other things I was called a knob, a muppet, a fool, a child, biased, unrealistic and "scum".

Having all but secured our 4th title in 5 seasons and 3rd Champions League Final in 4 seasons, I think there are many out there in FFLS land who will now require a large helping of humble pie.

Please form an orderly queue and you will all get served.

So big Question: Does SAF play 442 and attack Barca in a similar stylee or play Fletcher instead of Hernandez and play 451.

I personally don't think the 442 is anywhere near as effective away from OT, so i'd play tight, hit themm on the break. Woop wooop.

And whoever is up against Alves. I think you have to play on the counter attack and try and keep it tight. Is there a better CB partnership in Europe than Ferdinand and Vidic? Fergie will be using his powers of psychology to make sure that none of our players are in awe of Barca and that they are beatable.

Seeing as cynical fouling of Barcelona doesn’t work, neither does defending deep, seems like a leftfield innovative tactic is needed against those pesky Catalans. How about this for a sneaky offence nullifying strategy that lets Sir Fergie take advantage of having TWIN Brazilian fullbacks.

Fergie should drop Evra and play Rafael and Fabio as inverted fullbakcs. They should swap shirts too just for extra sneakiness. This gives a natural advantage to them against both Villa and Messi, usually deployed on the wide areas of Barcas front three, as Villa and Messi rarely cross and always cut in with the ball. We all know that playing inverted fullbacks means the twins will be on their stronger foot/side as Messi/Villa cut in and thus easier to foil the attack. And if Barca try to cross into the box from out wide, Utd have the giants Rio and Vidic to clean up.

Narrow back 4, clsoing down full backs and 1 striker sat on DM.
Pressure high up the pitch will present opportunities to Rooney, on whom our success in the game will inevitably rest

Arsenal's apporach in their 2-1 win should be the blueprint. Press them high up the pitch and exploit the space left by their full-backs.

There's more risk of being demolished, but in the Champions League final, it doesn't matter if you lose 1-0 or 5-0 anyway.

Play same as today; 4-4-1-1, but with Nani over Tony V, and + Evra, obviously.

When the opposition plays 4-3-3 they are met by two banks of four.

I also think Park has to start 0_o
