Bon matin. The penultimate Surgery of the season opens it’s doors before Fantasy Premier League (FPL) talk hibernates to some degree for the summer. But until that dark day dawns on millions of fanatical Fantasy Managers we’ve got plenty left to mull over and, right now, we’re counting down the minutes until FPL locks down for it’s thirty-seventh gameweek.

Mark has given the Watchlist another refresh and also afforded us with his weekly Scout Picks, Johnfinlay took the chance to divulge how the Captain’s Poll has been shaping up this week, Sir Paulos has been plugging away in the Technical Area as he assesses teams fighting for survival while just this morning Big Dunc offers up another cavalcade of Differentials for those needing that slice of different in the last weeks.

So we’ve offered up the weekly Fantasy Football Scout thought process so now all that’s left to do is enter the Saturday Surgery and make those last minute decisions. That and panic.

    Any suggestions? Quite want a Man Utd player so Fabregas - 8.6mil mid, Hoillet to Hernandez??

            Yeah, thought about them - good shouts imo.

            When it comes to it, though, it's just as much of a selection risk to have Fabregas and I can't use the money he frees up without taking a hit. Pretty much set on doing no transfers and hoping RVP can bring in the bacon.

      Theres no point doing RVP then if you want to catch him. Kuyt up against Spurs so I'd go with Lamps who is known to score heavily from time to time. Done him myself if it helps. Pretty much for the same reason.

      I have the same problem, but I'm leaning towards vPersie...! Mainly because United is playing today and Chelsea tomorrow, and tomorrow it might be all over if Manu manages a point today. I don't thing Lampard is going to be rested if that happens, but I just don't think they will be that motivated....! At least that is what I'm telling myself...

      If you've got a lot of other differentials who you think will score well it might be worth going RVP to make sure he doesn't pull further in front.

      But with 2 weeks left you probably want a differential captain too. I'd go Lampard.

    I would LOVE IT, if Alex starts, but Luiz is placed in a DM role or something. Extremely unlikely but would be good FPL wise 🙂

          Ivanovic has a chance of scoring. Chelsea have more chance of a clean sheet before the end of the season.

    I don't understand the doubts about Rooney that I've read about here lately. I think he's a smashing choice for this gameweek and that Man United will be at their best today, making sure they secure that title so they can switch off until CL final. I think he's captain material.

        Thinking same here, though doubt I'll have the cahones to captain, (protecting a slender 6 point minileague lead, rival already taken a 4 pointer this week, so will likely go for the relative safety of RVP) Could be Rooney's last league game this season and he could do with the confidence a couple of goals will bring. I see United going for it. If you are keeping Rooney this week, you have to be considering captaining him, if you don't think he has a chance of scoring you should be getting rid
