The final match in Gameweek 35 gets underway at the Etihad shortly as City prepare to entertain West Brom. Having taken a single point from last week’s pair of matches, Manuel Pellegrini’s side now sit nine points behind league leaders Liverpool, albeit with a couple of games in hand, whilst the Baggies are hoping to extend their three-match unbeaten run and boost their prospects of beating the drop, with Pepe Mel’s men only three points clear of safety:

Both sides also have an upcoming double Gameweek 37 on their respective agendas to catch Fantasy managers’ attention.

Yaya Toure is again ruled out for the hosts tonight, though the big news is that David Silva has recovered from an ankle problem and returns to the starting XI. Samir Nasri will be hoping to continue the form which has seen him score in each of his last two home games, whilst a big performance from Sergio Aguero will surely quicken up the bandwagon.

For West Brom, form players are few and far between, though Morgan Amalfitano, priced at just 4.2 and with two goals and an assist in his last three, could potentially play his way into some managers’ plans if he continues in the same vein.

Pellegrini really seems to be at a loss about the concept of not playing injured players.

If Silva had to work with the physios all weekend just to be okay to play tonight that clearly indicated he's not in the best, silly silly decision to play him.
