The guy in 2nd is the only real threat and has 5 DGW including Mata, who he captained this week. Bulked up to 9 and blocked his main way of catching me. That said, I'm punting on Aguero captain regardless, got a feeling.
I can't argue with the changes, I bought Alonso last week!
Worth getting Mata I think. He could do damage. Alonso not so much.

I'm in the same position, main rival is 66 points behind and he's probably going to captain Mata. For me to get him in I'd have to do:
Lallana, Eriksen, Coleman -----> Mata, Demichelis, Amalfitano which I'm not 100% about.

Haven't used my transfer and can shift some pricey defenders to take a hit and pay for him.
Slept on it and think I will have to get yaya as part of a baines + Erik > Alonso + yaya (-4) trade. It may seem like playing hard for the double with aguero and nasri as well but actually I see it as the most defensive move I could make. Yaya high score would be my biggest risk of not squeezing into the top 10k
On a different note is baines > jones/evra worth a hit? And which one? I was all set for evra until I read the article above

RVP possible return has a lot saying it may hamper Rooney's returns. Check his stats and scores with and without RVP. Very little in it. It's Mata that is likely to be worse off

Are you convinced on Wickham over Borini, Innsie? I am debating the same transfer and am leaning Borini atm..
Not very convinced and would love a punt on Borini if I'm honest. Wickham has been in crazy goalscoring form though so he's the popular choice. I may opt for Borini over him if I'm feeling extra punty.
Just feel like Borini is more threatening in open play and has looked terrific last few games for them. Both of Wicks goals last game were off set pieces and both poorly defended by Cardiff if we're honest. Borini serving up tons of chances as well as on pens seems a better shout to me even though everyone on here, their dog, and their mother are pimping Wickham.
You're convincing me! Borini will be up against a former club in GW38 too which will motivate him even more. I'm starting to lean towards Borini now too...
Can't say I've watched many Sunderland games recently so I haven't really had the time to do some scouting 😉
