      Pretty much always worth a hit when you can't field a full team. Pick one with a record of getting goals/assists/bonus from a team with something to play for - so likely to field their A-team. Have you a slot for another MC player?

        Thanks for response - no, already have Zaba, Yaya, Kun. Obviously they have to get a clean sheet or assist to make it worth the hit and I'm not sure of any clean sheets.
        I am miles ahead in my mini league and around 6500 in the world so can't lose or gain too much either way...

      The received wisdom was always don't take hits in GW38. There is only one week in which they can pay off so all you are doing is giving your rivals a leg up. But there has been a bit of a hit frenzy in these last 6-10 GWs with lots of them paying off well, so the received wisdom is being thrown out the window. People are forgetting that there have been three DGWs in this period and hits work well with DGWs. But we don't have one this week so I'm sticking to the old ways - its turning into a good differential. 🙂

    Hello to all. I'm typing this in utter desperation. After an horrible last 10 gwks i'm ranked 17th in my country (only league i care about besides overall rank) after being 6 and with a shout of being in second spot!!! A mix of nervousness, bad decisions, bad luck and betraying my own ways of playing the game contributed to this.     Rival had Dzeko as cap last week. I had a aguero. Talk about 1 move to frisk up your season. 24 behind now. Also dropped from top 7k to 35 k recently. It can all go very wrong very quickly.
