Akers makes his debut on our latest ScoutCast offering, joining us as our third wheel fresh off the back of the most miserable Gameweek points return imaginable. The Scout Picks were to blame apparently – a cunning excuse that I really should keep in reserve; it certainly seemed to keep Mark’s acid tongue at bay.

The new boy isn’t just on board to present his excuses; he’s here to introduce the launch of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup – another chance for the Fantasy Football Scout team to embarrass ourselves with an early exit.

Elsewhere things tick along as expected, with the “All Aboard” appraising the value of this week’s most tempting bandwagons, whilst examining the seemingly infectious condition of jerky knee when it comes to Mr Bale and Mr Carroll. The weekend preview finds Mark adopting a most uncomfortable position; sandwiched between two United fans before he’s forced to abandon the duty free and beach towels to make way for an overly generous selection of Fantasy Island Risks.

Grab these latest random rants right here and search out previous episodes via this link.

Or alternatively, stream the noise below from the comfort of FFS towers.

Is it worth a 4 pt hit to bring in the Toure bros (no City cover) for Perch (born to piss me off) and Bale. Can't afford to just do Perch -> Kolo unfortunately. Would I be mad?

I'm in the same position (having to play Jara, Samba and Enrique this weekend) but i can't see the sense in dumping Konchesky. If you do then Toure is the best option, you can just buy him and then forget about him for the rest of the season and (barring injury) he should rack up the cleanies.

    Foster
    Dann/Alex/Mummy
    Malouda/Nani/Gamst Pedersen/Arteta
    Berba/Drogba/Rodallega(c)

    Bench: Sorenson,Bale,Williamson,Mouyokolo

    Thoughts Please!

Mainly on the foster/sorenson and bale/pedersen senario.
Not sure what im thinking with Rod as a captain, but its a differential and i cant see many high scorers…

    How does this sound
    Fabs > Gerrard GW7 (BLP)
    Gerrard > Nani GW8 (WBA & stk)
    Nani > Fab GW10 (WHM)

Or should i keep Gerrard till GW10 (eve BLA)? Not confident enough in Liverpool to be honest.
    Thoughts appreciated, thank you

    Hi all,

Need a replacement for AJ, ideally a good rotation with Barton:
For 5.1 and under: Adam (not rotating well but quality)or Davies
For 5.4: Brunt (rotates well) and Parker (good fix)
    I'm 0.1 short for Nzog or Y.Toure

The more expensive option might prevent my Gerrard->Fabs move next GW.

    Who would you go for?

Anyone else sticking Koncheskey in their starting XI on the off chance that Liverpool's left-back crisis might force him to be hurried back early? I know it's a long shot but stranger things have happened.

Johnson strikes me as really arrogant... Anyone else feel the same?

I'd assume that he'll be on the bench, on the whole he wasn't that impressive last night, although the goal was excellent. Although if Milner shifts to the middle of midfield, like against Blackburn, then it only really AJ, Silva and Sweep contesting for the wide roles, so I guess he could play.

really? Arrogant? Why? I think he is a great young talent and shows a certain confidence unusual in someone of his age, the fact he can play well with both feet is very impressive, Milner feels like a real gamble with his current lact of points in FPL but he fits right in for Johnson and I had planned bringing him in on WC and then bringing in Fabregas for him after Birmingham, so this weekend might be a good weekend to get him in.Although, the stats article said he had 36 crosses of which only 2 were successful or was that someone else?

I did actually think this last night. His celebration was hardly warranted considering it was only his 2nd goal for the club.

He is Arrogance personified for me. I really have taken a dislike to him.

His goal celebration yesterday was proper "look at me im great"!

          +1

I'd noticed it long before last night though... That celebration did have my blood boiling though....

is it wrong to play Carson & Jara?

    Select from

    jussi/Carson
    Huth/Mummy/Konch(Injured)/Jara/Coleman

Any mummy owners out there with utd defenders too? I'm sure there are.
What's your feelings on this weekend? I can't see either team not conceding and Mummy is more likely to assist than O'shea, for me.
Or should I drop them both for Givet and Alb.

My mummy owns me, not the other way around.

P.S. I'd play him for every home game, at least.

    Hello everyone!

Is it time to let alex go...?
My defence for comming gw is

    Foster
    Alex, Jara, Jones

I getting worried about alex's rotation (bosingwa coming back) and fixtures, so tempted to go alex => toure.

ps. also hoping tevez will be rested sunday...well, maybe no hope for that.
