With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

The next up is our fixtures specialist Roscola.

Azpilicueta – Evans – van Aanholt – (Wisdom – Bartley)
Mata – Fabregas – Ramsey – Sterling – Sigurdsson
Rooney – Costa – (Zamora)

Roscola admits his team has a major flaw in that it is potentially benchless. He says though that he’s happy for QPR striker Bobby Zamora never to play, because this is a 3-5-2 that reverts to four at the back for first sub. He believes that there are more points available in the budget bracket in defence than further upfield. Sticking with this basic strategy he is looking for advice to find extra funds to invest in his bench. Downgrading Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas to Manchester City’s Samir Nasri is one option he is considering.

  Well, you're obviously set on Sturridge. I'd say Rooney over Costa: he's proven in the PL and has better fixtures.
  
  Henderson seems to spreading through these RMTs like wildfire. I'm not convinced, personally, but for 6m, it's not a huge risk.
  
  I wouldn't double up on Newcastle at the back though. Maybe van Aanholt instead of Williamson?

Ok I've got

Foster (Krul)
B.Davies Clichy Chambers (Wisdom Vlaar)
Mata Fabregas Silva Ramsey (Al Ahmadi)
Rooney DiegoCosta Bojan

Going with 3-4-3 but thinking of switching to 3-5-2 with Siggy for Al-Ahmadi and Zamora for Bojan.

Chambers isn't nailed on with Mertesaker to come back, neither is Clichy because pelligrini rotates a lot but wanted City cover so I'm confused. Should I go for Evans instead of clichy and go with 3 from Utd?

I could also downgrade Bojan to Zamora and upgrade Al-ahmadi to Young with 0.5 in bank so I can upgrade to siggy in GW 2 or 3.

Lastly, Silva's not been a popular choice this year it seems. Should I go with him?

Fletcher is my special punt, I believe is has good value for 5.5m, and he is on PK and is far better option than Bojan.

  I like most of your team but I don't think Anichebe is a very good pick. Not sure how much he will play, especially when Ideye is fit.
  
  So maybe consider playing Speroni every week and upgrade Anichebe to Bojan or perhaps Ulloa?

    Hey thanks for replying! Yes, my main concern is Anichebe, I was looking for something that made my squad stand out a little. How about Bent then? With Benteke out initially I reckon he could find his old form again. Also, Ward-Prowse, any alternatives there?

      I wouldn't go looking for a differential for the sake of it. Although it looks like everyone's team is the same on here, in reality this is just a small sub-section of the Fantasy players. Unless all your rivals read this site (in my experience that doesn't happen) then you don't need to worry about differentials, especially not at the start of the season.
      
      Just get players you think will score well, regardless of who else has them. Bent has such an illustrious career that it's easy to forget he was rubbish last season and Villa are just a terrible team. I really wouldn't go there.

      Well I think your team looks good, the advantage over Dzeko rather than Austin of course is it's easier to swap to a Dzeko/Giroud if need be

    Exact thought I had.. If he regresses like so many expect him to, then B would be the wiser move. If he surprises everyone and maintains 200+ point pace, then I'll just feel like an idiot...

  Looks good, only thing is Lovren and Morgan. Liverpool are not the best defensively and there is no use paying 4.5 for a defender you cant play in the first 5GW

  The midfield is interesting and different... Unsure about Cazorla, but may be a good punt, and if you could find an extra .5 for Countinho -> Sterling that'd be amazing, but otherwise solid.
