I am opposed to that strategy. don't use wildcard to get 40 more points at the start of the game. 1st week is a punt. Save your wildcard, play a good team with good defenders, and save the wildcard for when you know what players are doing well and there is a double gameweek. Take advantage of one of the weeks, or correct a terrible team.

Southampton have replaced Shaw, who wasnt that amazing defensively anyway, Clyne is a better right back than Chambers anyway, and via Saints forums, their record with Yoshida is actually better than with Lovren. They still have Wanyama, and a good team, with a good manager. Im not remotely worried,

Good morning all, I missed Community Shield so just have 2 quick questions - with goal & assist for Ramsey and Alexis only playing one half is the general consensus that you are better off saving the 1.5 with Ramsey? Also, wondering why Giroud did not start, is his place at risk? Thanks

Most think Ramsey is the better bet, I have both.
Sanchez only played 45 minutes, but he was both one of our most advanced players, while tracking Kolarov, one of City's most advanced players. He covered so much ground.

My whole strategy this preseason has been to run a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.
Now Costa banging in a double just before the season started has thrown a spanner at my face / side. But everytime I try to downgrade my defence I feel I am killing my backline to bring him in.
