Sunday presents two further Premier League encounters with a variety of Fantasy heavy-hitters on show.

Events begin at Anfield, with Liverpool starting life without Luis Suarez with an encounter against a Southampton side ravaged by a summer exodus. It’s a fascinating scenario that’s set to feature an-all start case of assets, including Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling – players burdened by big Fantasy ownership and expectation. The Saints, meanwhile, arrive on Merseyside looking to gel quickly after a flurry of new arrivals under the guidance of new boss, Ronald Koeman.

The day concludes at St James’ Park, as Newcastle host champions City. Manuel Pellegrini will likely field a much-changed side to the XI that suffered a Community Shield reverse against Arsenal. Even so, Fantasy investment in the City ranks has been tempered, with Yaya Toure remaining the top target, finding his way into 20% of Fantasy Premier League squads. Like Southampton, Newcastle present us with an array of new signings to assess, making Sunday a vital opportunity to scout talent.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The plan was always to stick with Yaya to sterling in gw 4. Going to stick to it!

    Bag us a brace Yaya!!!!

Like last season I think perhaps away from home will suit united. People selling mata is slightly mental. Selling young perhaps mental too (if you had him stick with him)

yes but surely give him more than 1 game? I understand why people will want to sell but at least decide after seeing how united do away from home?

Young isn't going to get in too many goal scoring positions at wing back and he's gonna do an awful lot of defending.

He's got 2 more gameweeks to prove he's worth keeping. After that Mata > Sterling for me.

Don't mind keeping for 2 as Sterling has Spurs/City to get through first.

The Sturridge talk on here is strange.

He was quiet but he got fantasy points. Didn't Rooney do the same yesterday?

Rooney had quite a few shots on target etc though. Not complaining but his goal is the only shot I remember (and it was barely a shot)

Everyone seems to forget this is exactly what Sturridge is about most of the time - a solid goal a game. Whether or not you want to pay 11.5 for that is up to you.

Mata almost certain to drop. I have Ramsey and Sterling so no easy switch yet, but if Fab or Hazard dominate tomorrow I'll do it for a hit.

Mata > Sterling is a tricky one, you might be saving yourself 0.3 in a week, Pool hammered Spurs last year and the City game is early enough that it could yet be a goal fest.

Quicker than ever, defensive rotations have been shattered as an idea. Yes, they keep people busy pre season, but they are a load of rubbish. Pick three, play them every week, pick two to bench.

I have three 4.0s and I'm regretting even trying to rotate them rather than just saying I'll play Hutton over Wisdom for now.
