Did you watch the game? When was he involved in a defensive sense? Rest of them weren't great but at least atoned for some mistakes. Johnson has concentration problems. Switches off in games and gets caught out of position too easily. Lacks aggrrssion when he's defending. Good footballer, poor defender.
I'm with you on that one. He is past his best and is so slow on the ball. Every time he got the ball tonight, time seemed to stand still. Hasn't adapted to the system at all.

On the plus side Liverpool bossed large parts of the game and just need a bit more sharpness & cutting edge. Our rivals this year are going to be Arsenal, United, Spurs & Everton for that 3rd/4th spot, City & Chelsea out of our reach imo.
