Sturridge Owners..
As a Sturridge owner i gotta say i am second guessing owning him.. Great stats and probably an explosion imminent situation but finally some strikers have popped up in the mid price who look like doing the same(Adebayor, Jovetic). Also, Sterling looks a fantastic alternative at 3 million less. Balo coming in throws Sturridge's potential/position(could be on the left) up in the air too. Though imo he'll function a lot better with another striker upfront rather than being alone up there. What are Sturridge owners doing?
A) Keeping for a few more weeks before kneejerking
B) Downgrading
C) Upgrading to Aguero
I agree, he's too expensive..............just transferred sturridge and young to jovetic and silva before the price rise.....still too early for aguero imo
After posting this to someone earlier, I want Sterling instead of Sturridge.
Sterling and Sturridge are basically playing in the same positions at times. Sturridge likes to drift out wide, and when he does, Sterling makes runs into the middle. The price difference between the two is big enough to go Sterling over Sturridge. The only problem is, is that Sturridge is arguably the better player, and if he finds some form over the next few weeks, then he might actually be the one to go for with Liverpool's good fixtures.
Although all this might change with Balotelli signing and all their other players regaining fitness.Sturridge looked so much better when LAmbert came on. he needs a strike partner. Balotelli should help him and push sterling a bit back(though playin in the hole with these 2 upfront aint so bad 🙂 ) . Have forgotten Balotelli's playing style. does he drop back a lot and create chances/slow down play. or is he one of those selfish strikers? if it's the former it will help Sturridge a lot

Tough call. I have him and in hindsight he's a bit expensive and has upset my team balance a bit. However, after spurs he has 6 very favourable games so the reward could be there shortly.

Bit of a dilemma... no obvious transfers except Brady but I won't need to play him barring injuries as Fletcher has good fixtures and I don't really want to bench Siggy.
So thinking of a luxury move of Begovic > Krul & Sturridge > Aguero. Liverpool fixtures are good so will probably need to get Sterling in next week (3m cheaper seems worth it), although it is tempting to just doing a bench transfer and having two over the international break. I feel fine with the front 8 but defense is giving me mares especially Kolarov, Bruce, Caulker & FosterI'd consider Caulker > Colo. Newcastle looking more solid than in years past and QPR looking like one of the worst teams to ever grace the PL. Plus it will add another 0.5 to your kitty
I think Caulker, Clyne, PvA are fine...I would change Kolarov to someone else..maybe Moreno..looked good yesterday and Liverpool have easy fixtures coming after the tottenham game..

Why does everyone think that man city will steamroll stoke? Last season, scorelines between both were 0-0 and 1-0 (city home)
I doubt aguero starting will help much. His two goals came due to his freshness and shock factor, i.e the defenders were tired/have not yet adjusted to his presence.
Furthermore man city was able to score against pool because pool was pushing up and leaving space, coupled with the fact that they had new defenders. Against Newcastle, they were only able to score one until aguero"s appearance in the late mins.
Anyway I doubt aguero will start. He thrives on space. Dzeko has to start to provide the physical presence.
