With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

                  After last season i said i was never getting aguero again, shame because he is probably the bst striker in the league.

                  All those weeks playing a weakened team with money in te bank waiting to get him without a hit all for him to go down injured few games later. Rinse and repeat.

                  If he was a suarez type who never seemed to get injured i would captain hin 9 times out ten, with his injury record i would honestly rather have dzeko/jovetic

                    If you have nothing else, I would change Chambers. Looks like his run in the team has come to an end. If you brought in one of the Newcastle defenders for him, I think they have a better chance of a CS than Caulker (cue he's due a goal comments)

                      No need to change Chambers this gw as you are playing him on the bench. Stick and save FT for 2FTs for GW4. Not keen on your def though....needs.something stronger.

                  Still seeing a lot of the myth about international break prices rises on here, and it was mentioned in the podcast

                  During an international break, people still have the same number of transfers, regardless of how long they have to make them. Therefore the values will not rise/fall more or less than they would during any other time

                    If I remember rightly in the last two seasons TV has been very difficult to increase in the international breaks. 0.3 approx as opposed to 1m in previous seasons. I may have totally made that up though 😀

                    Not sure there are more wildcards played. A few, maybe, but not enough to affect prices in any significant way. Will try to remember to get the figures off the website about how many transfers made - don't think it will be much more, if any at all

                          I feel rio is just as good as bringing someone in for Costa, he may get a cs and I'd happily play 2 ft with a -4 next week and have a look at city/pool/Ade over weekend and pray I don't get burnt.

                        I stupidly hit WC to get him out (for Aguero) as already stupidly transferred Austin out for Naismith, then realised I missed the price drop/rise opportunity. Crap start here. Mistakes already being made due to over analysing and tinkering.
