Cheers peeps. Considered him as an option in my draft mini-league. Seems to create a lot of chances and score big some weeks but those strikers can't hit a barn door.

Taking his time to settle certainly but let us not forget that Lewa was a benchwarmer for a good while. Hopefully Klopp brings out the best in him.

Which mid price striker do people expect to come good? Pelle? Jovetic? Adebayor?

I'm holding Naismith until one of them makes a convincing case for themselves.

I've been doing a little bit of research into who I should replace Jovetic with and after sifting through all of the relevant stats I can't look past that man Andreas Weimann, two goals one assist already this season playing as the main man in the rejuvenated Aston Villa squad. He seems to me like a big game player who transcends the fixture list but even when you take his fixtures into account he's got the defensively frail Liverpool in his next game!

Liverpool are all too susceptible to Aston Villa's pacey counter-attacks as I know all too well, I predict a Weimann brace next week... All that being said he's available at a cushy 5.5M!

At over 7pts per game so far this season look no further than Weimann for your FPL squad chaps!

All these endless riddle question are a result of the broken price system imo.
If we knew who was going to rise and fall tonight there would be decent discussions and dilemas about keeping, transfering in or selling.

Instead we have to hear about how man fish can fit in a box

Don't really need to know who's rising when and where tbh. Just get in at the start of the week the likely lads and wait for it too happen. I'm personally waiting on dier, dyer,Ivan and weimann to rise and Rooney to fall before bringing back at a discount. Have also avoided potential drops for the likes of mata, caulker, hazard and Cahill.

Yeah I realise people who played wildcard later will have more of a need for the price change sites as every bit of info will be priceless then. For me it's a mild inconvenience cos it keeps me in the dark. Was just trying to say it defo hasn't ruined my strategy.

Just reading through a few posts to catch up after my trip to The Pleasure Beach today. Ditching Ramsey seems to be a fairly common idea with the didficult fixtures coming up. Probably worth pointing out that Wally should be back sooner rather than later, so the worst case scenario would be Wally in when the fixtures ease should Ramsey's price continue to rise ....or get Ramsey himself back if his price remains stable. Not a problem either way as far as I can see.

      • 12 Years
      11 years, 3 months ago

yeah, but if it wasn't for the bad fixtures, no one would consider it. despite the below, way too big a risk with his ownership.

but you are right.. it'll be easier to rectify mistakes this season if you sell someone.

    Foster Krul
    PVA, Jones, Chester, Colo, Wisdom
    Ramsey, Fabregas, Sterling, Siggy, Zaha
    Costa, Rooney, Naismith

3.9 ITB. 0FTs. With Naismith's upturn in fixtures, I'd like to play him in a 3-4-3 so did Mata -> Zaha with my free transfer.

My question is, is there any move that is worth the hit, in order to reinvest the cash? Or, as I'm currently leaning towards, is it worth holding on to see what mid-priced strikers hit form/Aguero.

      • 12 Years
      11 years, 3 months ago

Ivanovic has to be tempting, but I tend to agree... in your situation, that cash for the big 3rd striker could come in handy... still takes a bit to upgrade to Welbeck even.

Below is my WC Team. I could do Lamela to Eriksen and have enough to go Ramsey to Fabs, good move?

    Krul - Elliot

    Colo - Taylor - Wilson - Wisdom - Duff

    Ramsey - Siggy - Sterling - Lamela - Zaha

    Sturridge - Costa - Falcao

I have a simple yet annoying conundrum.

    Mata & Rooney out for:

    A) Sterling and Aguero

    B) Fab and Sturridge

    Thoughts?

Wow that was a lot more straight forward than I thought!
I figure Fab will keep chipping in with assists all season and Sterling will be rotated since he still is only 19 that and Man City's God Awful fixtures made me hesitate.

      A) It is in a landslide victory

      Cheers for the replies

Play Caulker (mnu) possibly up against my captain or Moore (STK)

other option is Naylor so I think I can rule him out

Any NFL fans out there? I noticed Katie is sporting the New England badge.

I've asked to play NFL fantasy football and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on which players to grab.

    Cheers

      I'm doing it aswell....

Peyton Manning will be the top points scorer but no doubt he will go first round of draft.

Adrian Peterson if you have first pick
Doug Martin will have big things this year
Demarious Thomas Strong wide reciever for broncos
      Calvin Johnson is a beast
      Seattle Defence

      Too many to name really
