the problem seems to be to get the coversage better fixtures wise, fulham, qpr, villa and then add the chelsea or man city coverage....impossible to get both due to the premium prices!

Other than Bent, and Carroll/Suarez I don't see value in an expensive striker...
Might change Carroll for Drogba in GW2... bit of a coin flip with Torres tho...

dont think he's a bandwaggon with no basis as such...quotes from bruce have him playing behind the front man oop so there is pottential there for sure plus i fancy sunderland to be half decent this season after a good finish last season (top10 I think) with terrible injuries as well

nzogbia is indeed a prospect all about coverage of the fancied teams both fixture wise and historical i jus figure albrighten gives that coverage (for villa) albeit a little less potentially productive than zogbia

2 seasons ago I experimented with a top defence and attack and mids made up of players around 6m. Was 12th overall by end of November. Went downhill after that but considering a similar approach. Prices are conducive to it. What think you?
guys u might as well just focus on the first 3 weeks. more than likely u will get ur selection wrong and want to wildcard anyway. just pick the best team u can that maximises points for 3 weeks, then trade the international week using the wildcard, make money and have a great team going forward, with a nice points buffer from first 3 weeks.
also there is nice switch u will all want to make to arsenal players for wk4 so it fits nicely with the fixtures

i have a similar team. i think baines is worth it with arteta out. difficult to spend 8 on a defender, but he has good fixtures, take FKS, corners, pens and gets assists and clean sheets and bonuses
I think you should try and fit Rooney in IMO. He's always gonna start , has looked really sharp in pre-season eswell. Not to mention he's on penalties. Yes united's fixtures aren't the best but their all home games against the big teams. United always score at home and if its gonna be anyone who scores it'l be Rooney.

Plasma are good for sport but if you're using them in a bright room you get a fair bit of reflection off of the glass front. They also use a lot more power than the other options. The other issue is screen burn, it's not as common as it once was but if there is a logo or something on the screen for too long, then it will burn into the screen.
There's no reason to get an LCD over an LED unless price is a issue. LEDs basically use LCD screens but a different lighting system, use less energy and tend to be brighter screens. Overall picture is slightly better.
Sony aren't as good as they once were. Still good stuff but the other makes have caught up with them imo. I'd go for Panasonic (that's what I have currently) or Samsung. Love some of the new 46" Samsung LEDs. LG are good but I'd rather a Samsung or Panasonic.
Hz is supposedly important for fast moving images. In my opinion it's not that important though. I've watched sport on low Hz TVs and higher Hz side by side and never noticed a difference. Others tell me there is a difference though, I guess everyones eyes are different ๐

Weirdness, thats the TV my old man is getting, I get his old 42 inch LED Sony for my room, but that TV is very, very sexual, the 55" version is just as nice, £2500 in Comet though.
Meh, he has a comet card, so we are getting it from there, he's got most of his electrical stuff from there, so y'know, he has a lot of points (Also as it ties in with PC World (Which is terrible, I know))
And the 46" version is slightly cheaper in comet than Currys anyways so ๐
£200 cheaper on Amazon and I still don't even have a semi! ๐
Well yeah, everything is cheaper online I just know where to find that one quick on Currys website because I work there and check it out for customers a fair bit!

I have Sony 40" atm (KDL40W5500) you reckon I would find the Panasonic better?
Its not often you get two people that have seen a TV and are on the same site, at the same time, and both think its an amazing TV, the picture of it is amazing, 3D is just a bonus, if you have the cash then go for it.
Having said that, that TV would be amazing if not 3D, they already have 3D TV's without glasses, and they are going to be brought out at a decent price in around 18 months, so give it 3 years, and then it will be developed quite well, IMO.
Where did you hear about that? Last few reps I've spoken too said the technology doesn't work yet because it makes people feel sick while watching it.
Some guy told me and my dad in Comet. But I should've said, they are still developing the technology, and it should be available at a reasonable price in around 18 months.
But apparently the non-cinematic technology (Forgot what its called, but its not the cinematic stuff) makes some people feel sick, personally, I can't watch a non-cinematic 3D TV for that long, but I can watch a 3D Movie in the cinema without a problem....

The Passive glasses are easier to watch with IMO, but the 3D quality I find is better with the Active technology.
Still, glad to see someone else recommends that Samsung, they had the 55" in Comet, in a little living room, with Monsters Vs Aliens on, On Blu Ray, Picture was something special.
