Paul With a quarter of the season now gone, we’ve decided to cast an eye over the shooting accuracy of the Premier League’s finest in this, our latest Numbers Game article for Members.
In order to eliminate most anomalies here, only those players who have had at least 10 shots at goal and have at least 2 goals are analysed. This still leaves a substantial sample size of the top flight’s main men to scour over and turns up the usual array of interesting results.

If we were to study the last month of fixtures. Then you will find out apart from Tevez not one forward has been putting the ball in the net. Torres yes but that was his first for ages. The rest are Bentner, Pea and Zigic. It’s the midfield who are doing the business in fact on a whole most forwards have done jack sh!t.
Not good on the forward front. Last 4 weeks my forwards have scored.....

Probably the wrong place to ask, given the % of glory supporters on this site, but does anyone else get annoyed with Hernandez having 'Chicarito' on his back?
I could understand it if his real name was Edison Arantes do Nascimento (or something like that) but it's not, it's Javier Hernandez. What was wrong with having 'Hernandez on his back'. I remember the commentators and pundits making a fuss with Benitez having 'Chucho' on his back, but not at all with Hernandez.
So I guess when I start playing for Chelsea, I can have 'Nobhead' on the back of my shirt, just because I feel like it, and that's fine?

I actually went to the same games last season, think it was 4-0 though then and i was down in the west stand.
West Stand lower is where it's at. Row 13, bang on the halfway line.
I preferred it in the Matthew Harding actually. The West Stand seemed a lot more reserved, the MH was filled with a load of nutters and the atmosphere was better (even if it was a dull game!)
So the west stand is for all chelsea fans.
