Paul With a quarter of the season now gone, we’ve decided to cast an eye over the shooting accuracy of the Premier League’s finest in this, our latest Numbers Game article for Members.
In order to eliminate most anomalies here, only those players who have had at least 10 shots at goal and have at least 2 goals are analysed. This still leaves a substantial sample size of the top flight’s main men to scour over and turns up the usual array of interesting results.

and yes i put my faith in some good awful defenders last few weeks, ie mr shawcross of stoke city. the last cple of red arrows hurt, i was one of the poor sods who captained torres when he went off after 10 mins
Don't think Shawcross is the problem. He scored well for you in GW7. You only missed out on 5 points in GW8 with your captain. What is Davies doing there if you never give him a chance?
those 8 points was all that he scored for me..davies has been switched to adam.

i messed upfrom the off having drogba and malouda in on fri night before gw1 then changing cause i was scared they wouldnt play, but made the exact same screw up with fabs who was never gona play. dumb and ass spring to mind

I have already brought in Elmo for Gohouri....i have cash to take a 4 point hit....So question is should I get rid of Nasri for Fabregas? Then make Fabregas my captain. That is the trade I will do.....such a dilemma.....do it or hold off?
(The only other 2 mids i could get rid of moneywise are Nani/Malouda and i don't want to do that as i want a blend of mids from the arse, chels and manu.....)

Are the split game weeks that were so common last year likely to occur again? There must be the likelihood some teams will have euro fixtures or cup replays at some stage that cause split game weeks and chances for exploiting double gameweeks etc.

Dembele. He always looks like he will score, especially when Zamora was in the lineup. Now with Andy Johnson and Kamara in there, its a toss up for me. I would go on fixtures, which I believe the advantage would go to Newcastle but don't quote me on that, you should check it yourself.
