As a Liverpool fan, it's hurting me. Since the slip, the title loss..he's mentally not there. Although he had 13 goals and 13 assists last season, his stats covered his weaknesses. He's weaknesses are being exposed week in, week out. He's 34, playing in the toughest league in the world. There's no other defensive midfielder who's good enough to provide protection. I also feel as if he's losing the respect from opposite fans. I honestly, hand on heart, believe he'll call it a day soon. 1 more season after this, at the max.Let us not. His time was then, this is now.
