Our first members article of the week delves into the data of the nine matches played out so far. A number of forwards come under assessment this evening, with Liverpool, United and West Ham’s new frontmen all analysed, whilst we also take a look at City’s resurgent Bosnian, Chelsea’s midfield and Swansea’s worrying lack of impact in the final third.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

and I'll never play him, but I had 8 attackers who I'd want to play every week, so I used Ramsey's injury as an opportunity to get an actual budget mid in to fund moves for Aguero, Baines and Welbeck

Ramsey's injury really helps his appeal, means Wenger won't be playing that silly 4-1-4-1 formation with him out wide anymore.

I disagree. Wenger has shifted him to that No. 10 spot. Before he had been playing out wide, he looks much more dangerous now and I can see him getting alot of points to be honest.

True, but with the way Mou likes to set up against the 'big teams' and Ozil's notoriety for going missing in the big matches + lack of physical presence, I don't see him doing much

Yeah i know it's a strange move, I just think my current team would fair better this week than a wildcard team as i'd be ditching the likes of moreno and siggy who have good fixtures for baines and someone. Also think it will be more clear next week who is a good long term replacement for rooney. Also fun taking 1 week punts 🙂

    Costa 63.4% ownership.

What's the highest ownership for a player that has ever been?

God it's depressing how I've just had to bring him in for -4. An absolutely meaningless transfer essentially. Basically just putting myself -4 behind everyone else in the game. Why did I ever sell him :'(

I should have just insta-bought him back the week after. But I was too stubborn + there were once again rumours of him not being fully fit that gameweek. Ah well, onwards and upwards now.

Same Bubz. Selling because of his 'injury' before his 5 goals in 2 games was maybe my worst fpl decision ever.

Yep it doesn't get much worse. Unbelievable really. Having to buy him back at 0.5M more and at the cost of 4 points too 😆 😯 🙁

Probably cost you way more than 4 points. At least you have him now, just don't look back...

Oh absolutely, cost me a ton of points. But having to spend an extra 4 just to buy him is the icing on the cake

    Downing vs Gerrard

DOWNING - played in the hole last 3 games
    - west ham have decent strikers to pass to
    - he's on set pieces, and they are good aerially
    - QPR + Burnley next 2
    - stats are comparable to fabregas
    - played 6x90mins
    - 5.6 price makes him easily benchable

    GERRARD
    - played 6x90mins, will get his rest in int. break
    - scored 2 pens and 1 fk already
    - will take more FK's this season with Suarez gone
    - Liv are 2nd in the league in headed attempts from corners
    - great fixtures: 8 of next 9 are against bottom half sides
    - already has 8 bps, including 2 from a game he blanked in (at City 1-3).

    Who would you choose?

Gerrard long term, Downing value for money

In fact, Gerrards 8bps is highest in the league for mids.

Downing and Sterling on 6 are the only others over 5.

To me, Gerrard is a crappier version of Fabregas. Plays very defensive. The only way he will score is from Penalties (Which Liverpool won't be getting as often) or Free kicks. I have a feeling he won't take all the free kicks with Balo around trying to be cheeky. So Downing 😛

People say that but liverpool already had 2 pens this season (PL and CL), and should have had one against Everton. Suarez leaving means he'll take even more FK's too

giving him till GW10 atm when the fixtures take a sharp turn, but Swansea have been struggling recently

Got a few hits coming up in the next few, but I'll take the odd -4 here or there if it means I can hang on to the wc

all of Aguero, Baines, Lloris. Chambers, Welbeck arriving in the next 3 weeks
