Our next Members article looking at the idea of “value” sees Forwards come under the microscope. With a fresh revision of players last weekend in light of factors such as transfers and pre-season tactics, we’ve tweaked the Projected totals to give you an up-to-date reflection on our thinking. While many of our top ten value forwards are lower-priced options that perhaps may be more suited to rotation, the kind opening prices afforded to the likes of Luis Suarez and Peter Odemwingie propels a couple of FPL big-hitters firmly into our thoughts.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Who's the best midfielder for 8m?

Currently have Toure, but thinking about a move to Modric if he gets his move to Chelski.

I have Modric. Nzog might take time to settle in and Toure might have to play deeper due to the arrival of Aguero. Modric seems to be most logical choice.

I genuinely think putting enrique into my team is a bad idea. Really happy with my current defence
    Kompany Cole Baines (Orr Simpson)

I just think it would make my team weaker if I lost one of the starting three. I know I could use cash elsewhere but I don't think I really need to tbh. Of course the other option is to upgrade Orr/simpson but what's the point in upgrading your sub defender?

Im in exactly the same boat with those 5. Loving the Komapny/Baines/Cole so wont change that. Would be 3/5/2 or 3/4/3 but Enrique is such good value (if at Pool) that will prob upgrade Orr and go 4/4/2 or 4/3/3 and rotating mids/forwards based on fixtures

Sacrilege. Bobby Z will be an unstoppable points scoring machine this year. Tiote will pick up loads of BPs and play every game (when not suspended). Can't believe you'd drop Bobby.

This is Bobby Zamora we are talking about yeah? People are getting a bit carried away with his ppg ratio in he few games he played last season.

No. I got burned like many others with the DGW disaster last year but he's a massively improved player. If he get's a couple early doors, he'll be off and running (until injured) and 7.0 will seem very cheap

I honestly think you're taking a few too many chances on your midfield.

Nzog just came to the club. And the rest seem to be pre-season favorites.

Iunno, there's not a lot of surity in anyone except Silva.

Yes N'Zog is new but with bent to feed he'll surely be an assist machine. Moses a pure price rise play. O'Hara will do well and be behind anything good Wolves do.

No player does well in every single game.

Over the season, he proved himself to be the best player in the league by miles. I'm sure that wasn't because everyone else didn't bother marking him.

I also doubt that many teams in the league would bother to man mark a player from a promoted team- though I'm probably being naive.

There is a point behind this though.

Lots of teams in the Championship stuck two or three players in Taarabt per game.

No Premier League side will sacrifice that many players to stop one, especially against a promoted team.

Poor SEB, he's everyone's go-to-guy for an example of not making it in the Premiership. To be fair to him he was struggling with niggling injuries for a lot of his first season and then scored 7 in his second.

I take your point though, I'm not sold on Taraabt myself either. Or QPR generally for that matter, not hugely positive sounds coming out of the club this summer.

    Given

    Hughes - Kompany - Luiz

De Jong - Lampard - Kuyt - Taarabt

Zamora - Van Persie - Rodallega

(Subs: Ruddy, Moses, Simpson, Jose enrique)

Took quite a long time up until this point to get this team to where it is now, basing it more or less on opening fixtures, but not entirely.

    Advice/thoughts welcome. Cheers.

Fatty no value this year at 12m and it's not clear where Kuyt will play with Saurez and Downing. De Jong is just a terrible FPL pick. Suggestions would be Silva and VdV (if not injured)

    All,
I'd appreciate any advice you can give to help a yank's dream come true. I will be in england October 15th and need to go to Liverpool v ManU at Anfield. I hear tickets are really hard to get. I am looking at worldticketshop.com and the cheapest price is 217pounds! Wow. Is this the price I should be expecting to pay? Any other websites/means to get tickets that you'd recommend? Thanks again
