With West Brom and Man United set to see out the Gameweek tomorrow, we delve into the data from the nine matches played so far. Unsurprisingly, Man City, Southampton and West Ham’s in-form front men are on this evening’s agenda, whilst we also cast an eye over a couple of improving north London-based midfielders.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Time to wake up and smell the (Costa) coffee?

    Jose Mourinho’s latest fitness report on Diego Costa has not only all but ruled Chelsea’s main striker out of Tuesday’s Champions League game against Maribor but also gives him “very little” chance of playing at Manchester United on Sunday.
    Costa’s ongoing hamstring problem kept him out of Saturday’s trip to Selhurst Park, and led to Mourinho making pointed jibes about how Spain used the 26-year-old for “big games” against Slovakia and Luxembourg “and he came back in a condition where he’s not available for his club”.
    The Chelsea manager said Costa had “little, very little [chance],” of playing against United. “I say Maribor, no chance; Man United, very little – but very little,” he said.
    Costa has defied such expectations before, however, and Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace was Chelsea’s first Premier League match this season in which the Spaniard did not start.
    But Mourinho praised the side for overcoming the absence of a striker already seen as indispensable in a hard-fought game, in which Oscar and Cesc Fabregas scored for Chelsea and both Cesar Azpilicueta and the Palace defender Damien Delaney were sent off.
    “It was good for the group to have an important victory without one player that till this moment has scored so many goals and given us so many points,” Mourinho said.

    Who is the better option on paper?

    A) Koke (8 pts)
    B) Gerrard (10 pts)
    C) Modric (7 pts)
    D) Carzola (4 pts)
    E) Kagawa (6 pts)

    So the VC issue.

    Let's say %60 own him. Do we know how many (c) him??

    %30-40?

    I'd guess most have ADM VC, maybe a few Aguero's, and plenty of Pelle's, and most probably have a 2 point sub coming in, luckily not many fluky clean sheets,

    Even as a ADM owner, I suppose I'd want him to do nothing tonight?

      Depends on what you call the fab four midfield. Two of Sigurdsson/Chadli/Tadic, and two of ADM/Fabregas/Sterling seems the right balance, and people are managing to fit Baines into such a team.

              at least there is a little variation in who people have dropped out of that lot, at least. Some Fabregas/ADM, some Costa/Aguero, some Baines.

      I could get that sxenario by downgrading Ivanovic to Wisdom and upgrading Naismith to Pelle. It would leave me with Baines and 4 cheapies in defence, but I am debating whether that is a risk that I want to take.

      Given that I have no Saints players at the moment, may be bigger risk not to bring in Pelle...

    Morning guys! Here's my team at the moment:

    Begovic
    PvA, Naylor, Bertrand
    Siggy, Tadic, Sterling, Cesc
    Pelle, Aguero, Costa

    subs: Gilks, Chester, Cattermole, Rio
    2 FT's, 1.7 ITB

    If new injuries do not occur in UCL what would you prioritize?

    A) Rio -> Jagielka/ Rose/Kaboul
    B) PvA -> Jagielka/ Rose/Kaboul

    I wondering if Liverpool coverage is essential at the moment?

    I downgraded Sterling to Henderson for GW8 but now I'm pretty determined to get rid of Henderson in a joint effort with downgrading Schneiderlin to Boyd. This'll help me improve my 4th mid (7.8m to spend which rules out all of 'pool midfield except Hendo). Anyone kind enough to back me up in my decision to forgo a Liverpool player completely?
