Saturday’s modest points returns pile expectations on to Sunday’s trio of encounters, as an assortment of prime Fantasy assets take to the turf.

It all begins with a pair of lunchtime kick-offs, as Spurs entertain Newcastle at the Lane and Burnley host Everton up at Turf Moor. Fantasy managers will be looking to the likes of Leighton Baines, Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen to provide some early cheer, before attentions turn to the main event at Old Trafford at 4pm.

United and Chelsea meet head-on in one of the season’s key clashes. It arrives in time to find Jose Mourinho’s Blues flying high on top of the table, while Louis van Gaal’s United struggle to break out of a state of flux.

The script points to a comfortable away win, with Fantasy managers eagerly awaiting the visitors’ team sheet and the potential “revelation” that Diego Costa defies the claims of his manager to spearhead the Chelsea attack. We’re in for a fascinating afternoon.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

We will need to spend another 100-150m before we can compete for the Title again. CD, RB and DCM.

FFP means only spending the money you earn - and United earn a lot of it.

Chelsea should have had a penalty. Stone waller now Michael Oliver added the rule to the game last week. Or is it one rule for Ryan Shawcross and another rule for everybody else?

    Load of b**locks referees are.

Peter Crouch. Over 100 games for the club, no penalties awarded for fouls on him.

        What are the chances?

Same with the long throws as well.

Cesc came out last week and said he is really enjoying the style of football and isn't worried if he goes 5-6 matches without a goal or assist. Deeper position............question whether hazard or even Oscar would be a better choice

          • 11 Years

When Chelsea attack on the sides, it frees up space for Fabregas to make forward runs which result in assists & sometimes goals. Not to forget he takes corner kicks & free kicks which give him another chance to get assists.

Haz is yet to convince me this season. Makes great runs & stuff but yet to score consistently for FF.

Yep. But Chelsea have allowed us to be. Very passive.

I expect them to step it up 2nd half

Welbeck will run riot against Burnley. more chance of Sanchez being rested for that game IMO. but long term these 2 transfers are a good idea.

You're relying on Sanchez scoring at least 4 more points than Welbz from midfield. Not worth the gamble, esp. since you'll be losing Sterling

Surely. Of all the transfers United has made the last year or so, he`s the worst purchase of them all, counting Fellaini as well, although its close between the two.
