Monitor – Raheem Sterling

The season could barely have started brighter for Raheem Sterling after the youngster grabbed two goals and an assist in the opening three Gameweeks for Liverpool. With Daniel Sturridge sidelined ever since, however, Sterling has struggled to replicate his early form, scoring just once and earning a pair of assists in the subsequent six Gameweeks.

Despite a weekend showdown against Newcastle on his agenda, Sterling is the most sold player in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, with over 65,000 owners parting company in order to acquire the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Dusan Tadic and Cesc Fabregas.

In our second members article of the week, we take a look at his displays with and without Sturridge on the park in order to ascertain just why he’s failed to deliver.

    Baines Clyne Wisdom (Hutton Duff)
    ADM Sterling Siggy Chadli (Boyd)
    Aguero Costa Pelle

    1 FT .8 in the bank

    Simple thought is one of the 3 cheapie defenders up to Chambers
    Middle thought is ADM to Sanchez until we can finally sort out who to own, if any, of United
    Crazy thought is blowing up the team by downgrading a forward to Beranho and using that cash to upgarde the midfield with Hazard and/or Sanchez

        I have both, but if I only had one right now, it's Aguero for me 10 times out of 10. Aguero on Pens gives him slight edge since Costa is not. Costa more consistent to get you a goal a week, but haven't seen much from him to suggest he's capable of a 4 goal week like Aguero recently gave us.

        If I'm building a team right now, I'm building it around Aguero.
