As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 11’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 11 Scout Picks here. For everyone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks. Please try to keep all discussion about the vote to this article and avoid spam canvassing, as it could prove counterproductive to your chances.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of budget. We are sticking to a budget of 83.5m. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote for 24 hours and come back at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) to find out who is the community’s choice.

Once selected I’ll need you to email me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with your final scout picks and 200 word explanation (I’m happy to take bullet points) by Thursday 5pm at the latest. There is time to alter based on injuries on Friday daytime – just keep me updated by email. If your champion fails to submit their final team by this time then an assistant from our team of moderators and contributors will step in.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion.

Finally, here’s an updated on Gameweek 10’s picks so far. It has been another good week for the Community Picks with Gameweek 10 Champion Magerost netting 72. This is higher than Paul’s 69 and Mark’s 64, although both our Scouts have Crystal Palace players to play tonight. So far I’ve topped the gameweek with 95. In addition, Magerost now has the highest gameweek score of our champions so far and is in the driving seat to snatch the £100 Amazon voucher.

Going into tonight’s final match of the Gameweek here is the running total: Jonty 609, Mark 602, Paul 587, Community 487.

    DDG
    Trippier, Bertrand, Cresswell
    ADM, Chadli, Mane, Downing
    Aguero, Pellé, Ings

    Total price: 77.1

Real good reasoning below, exploiting some of the best the Member's Area has to offer. Give my team a chance 😉

    ---
The ever-reliable David De Gea in goal against a Palace team who has by far had the least amount of goal attempts this season.

Three attacking full-backs who'll exploit the weaknesses of their opponents. Trippier will terrorize Hull who has conceded the most chances at the left flank this season. While Leicester and Villa are number one and two respectively on the amount of chances conceded on their right flanks.

All attackers are solid, reliable point pickers and will sure to give some good points against weaker opponents. Only real punt is Danny Ings, but with 15 penalty box touches these past two gameweeks (only Aguero, Welbeck and Benteke as more), he's starting to get in shape and is due a goal or two against a Hull who has conceded the highest amount of shots in the box this season.

Wouldn't go for DDG, many injuries in the Utd defence.

Should be able to stop Palace though. Carrick is also back, some routine from him will come in handy. Also Blackett and McNair aren't bad defenders necessarily. The recent tweet from Rojo even suggest his injury wasn't as bad as feared, perhaps he might still play on Saturday? https://twitter.com/marcosrojo5/status/529050947407069185

If not, Lloris and Foster are good alternatives.

You're absolutely right! I seem to have been looking only at the four last GWs for that stat. Sorry about that.

Still think United could pull off a surprising clean sheet 😉

Another Game Week, another throw of the dice:

    Adrián
    Clyne, Baines, Chambers
    Sánchez, di Maria, Downing, Tadic
    Sakho, Pellè, Agüero … 79.6

Doosra’s Scout Picks XI (GW 11)

Clyne: Bonus bandit and possible assister.
    Baines: Well ... 😀
Chambers: Too hot to handle, and ignore!

    Sánchez: The irresistible force!
Di Maria: Single-handedly keeping Van Gaal in a job ...
Downing: The man of the moment against the fourth weakest defence of a bad bunch!
Tadic: The current dead ball master against the weakest defence

    Sakho: If I had a Hammer ...
Pellè: The most shots in the box. For weeks!
    Agüero: Oh Well ... 😉

Now comes the hard part - please vote for this line-up!

Vote early, and vote often!!! I thank you! 😀

On second thought switch Bertrand to Clyne because he is a bonus bandit
Clyne: Bonus bandit and possible assister.
      Baines: Well ... 😀
Creswell: Because Chambers Haul Last week was a fluke and Cresswell is due a haul

      Sánchez: The irresistible force!
Di Maria: Single-handedly keeping Van Gaal in a job ...
Downing: The man of the moment against the fourth weakest defence of a bad bunch!
Chadli : Consistent points and furthest Spurs player forward last week

Berahino : West Ham are not that good regardless of what Doosra says and Berahino's stats are really good
Pellè: The most shots in the box. For weeks!
      Agüero: Oh Well ... 😉

I'll throw my hat into the ring this week.

    Forster

    Trippier Baines Creswell

    Fabregas Sanchez Yaya Downing

    Rooney Pelle Kane

For something different I've gone Yaya and Rooney rather than ADM and Aguero. 82.8m

Gone for a punty XI -

    Courtois

    Trippier - Fonte - Cresswell

    Barkley - Oscar - Navas - Mason

    Weimann - Campbell - Kane

    Only 64.2 altogether

Again, I don't want to write an essay but brief explanation:

Chelsea look safe to finally keep CS - hard to choose goalkeeper punt
Mid - Barkley is always a threat (if he plays midweek i'd change), Oscar is in good form, Navas should be able to exploit QPR backline, Mason is a great low ownership option and pushes forward well.
FWD - Weimann was impressive the other week and with Benteke out he will be the main man, United are weak so Campbell could profit, Kane should play for Spurs and delivers when he plays

Probs too late but give me an upvote if u like 😉

I'd be surprised if the front 7 get more than 30 points. In a week where Soton,Utd,Westham,Tottenham,City all have great fixtures, the community would add another 50 points to the already huge gap. I'm surprised it got 6 votes.

    Mane, ADM, Sanchez, Downing

    Costa, Aguero, Berahino

I would put a list of justifications, but its essentially, Saints, Hammers plus assorted others with good fixtures.

I agree with Timtastic and Innsie's suggestion that it might be fairer if the prize went to the champion who defeats all three Scouts by the biggest margin - in fact, I suggested something similar last week. This would mean that even champions in game-weeks where there are fewer than ten matches (because of postponements) would still stand a chance.

If no-one beats all three Scouts, it could go to the one whose score is closest to the best of the three Scouts that week.

    Forster

    Baines Alderweireld Jagielka

    Sanchez Fabregas Di Maria Downing

    Aguero Sakho Austin

    83.4

    * Forster and Alderweireld: The Saints pair has delivered 36 points collectively in the last three games(individually just one point less than Bertrand who's 0.5 pricier than Toby) and they face Leicester who collected three consecutive blanks in the last three games and four in the last five. At the moment no defense is safer than Southampton's.

    * Baines and Jagielka: Another double, double risk but potentially double reward too since the Toffees are going to face Sunderland who blanked four times in the last five and conceded 10 goals in the last two(Southampton and Arsenal). Baines could unleash his attacking potential against them and he's also a bonus magnet while Jagielka too has been able to collect 9 BPS so far.

    * Sánchez: 45 points in the last three games. Not much else to say but with a Welbeck who doesn't score and a Theo Walcott who is being eased back into the game, the chilean looks like he's still going to be the main protagonist in Arsenal's script for at least the next two games.

    * Fàbregas: I really wanted to choose Hazard because he's going to have to explode at some point and he's also a differential but i was 0.2 short so i went with Cesc who has delivered the same amount of points(26) as the belgian in the last four but who has shown more consistency by delivering points in each of the last four games with three assists and one goal. With Liverpool being so weak and Costa hopefully eager to go back to the scoring part of the game, the spaniard still looks like the chef who's going to have to cook the meal for his teammates.

    * Di María: He didn't look particularly sharp yesterday, especially in the last 25 minutes of the game with some awful crosses and corners, but he almost scored the 1-1 and it looked like he NEEDS to have ball if United want to produce something. The Red Devils played a good game even in 10 vs 11 and with Palace next and Rooney back with a good performance, it looks like the argentine might return to deliver those juicy double digits.

    * Downing and Sakho: They're kind of like the golden pair for West Ham; with two goals. four assists and 13 points in the last game, Downing(9.4% ownership) looks like the perfect fifth midfielder or even a damn good fourth one. His ability to assist will be fueled by the return of Sakho(5.3% ownership) who's been able to deliver five goals and two assists in the last six. Both of them have great prices and with some interesting fixtures in the next seven GWs i don't see why they shouldn't both be in your team.

    * Agüero: El Kun scored once again...no sheit. He scored the winning goal in the derby, that makes it seven goals and 44 points in five games...just bring him in.

    * Austin: Risky choice but not so much for a 5.7 forward who has delivered four goals and an assist in the last five games, including two goals against Chelsea's and Southampton's defenses. He's currently the sixth best FW in the FPL, he has an ownership of 0.9% and a game against City should not scare you at all since their defense has been far from impenetrable this season.

This is my first go at this so here it goes...

    Heaton
    Cresswell Bertrand Baines
    Sanchez Tadic Fabregas Downing
    Aguero Pelle Kane

Keeper wise I've gone for Hearon. I don't fancy Hull much just now as an attacking threat and they could find it tough to break down Burnley.
At the back I've gone for combined potential clean sheets and attacking threats in Baines Bertrand and Cresswell.
Midfield, Sanchez is too hard to ignore just now whist Cesc is Mr consistent and up against a leaking Liverpool defence who are not good at defending set pieces I fancy Cesc to keep the returns ticking over. The two mid price options in Downing and Tadic both have good form and good home fixtures so are obvious choices.
Up front, Aguero and Pelle pick themselves. Good fixtures, good form. Lastly I've gone a bit punty with Harry Kane. His form surely can't be ignored any longer and I know having owned Begovic all season that clean sheets from Stoke are a rarity.

    Total price 82.4.

I'll give it a try this week. A little different to what I've seen posted.

    Forster

    Alderwereild Terry Baines

    Siggy Chadli ADM Sanchez

    Pelle Sakho Costa

Terry: Chelsea are actually tigher in the big games. Liverpool are atrocious at defending set-pieces and Migs is very shaky in that area. Terry scores in big games.

Siggy and Sanchez: A big game and I expect goals from both ends.

Chadli: Good fixture and good form.

Costa: Should be fully fit next week and he is a big game player. He will be looking forward to take on the error prone Liverpool defense.

I chose no to go overboard with Westham players especially defensive ones as they always concede and not that cheap.

The glaring issue would be that there is no Man City coverage. I just think City after a difficult and crucial CL game will be exhausted. I did consider Nasry as a punt though but decided he won't play more than 30-45 mins.

Hello guys, how have you all been? Its that time of the week and for the first time ever, I have decided to submit a team to represent you all, my fellow community members, as the community champion next week. After recent impressive performances the bar has been set pretty high for us but nonetheless I feel that I could rise to the occasion with this team:

    Courtois
    Baines Clyne Trippier
    Downing Sissoko ADM Hazard
    Agüero Pellé Valencia/Kane

    Price: 83.2

In goal, I have chosen to go for Courtois. With Chelsea set to play against a Liverpool side that has failed to score in the last 2bpl games, there's a good chance of him keeping a clean sheet.

In defense I have chosen to go for 3 attacking fullbacks in Baines Trippier and Clyne. With Baines and Clyne both playing teams that are short of form. There is a high chance they could register points at both ends of the pitch. As for Trippier, with Burnley playing a hull city side that are short of goals recently, and the much awaited return of danny ings, Trippier could prove a real differential.

In midfield I have some unsurprising choices in Hazard, ADM and Downing, whose attacking stats luck very tasty and whose creativity and attacking drive could deal real damage to their opponents. However, perhaps a more surprising pick is my inclusion of Moussa Sissoko, having paid closer attention to Newcastles recent encounters, I have seen this player involved in many of their attacks, and although he has not returned many points recently, I believe he is just a bit of luck away from a decent haul.

Finally, in attack I have chosen to go with Agüero and Pellé (pretty self-explanatory) along with one of Valencia and Kane, both of them seemingly in great form recently and with a great chance to prosper against defences that have not proven very solid in recent weeks.

Massive thank you to anyone who votes, and my the community continue their decent streak 🙂

    Heaton (HUL) (4.5)
Baines (sun) (7.2) Bertrand (LEI) (5.5) Alderweireld (LEI) (5.0)
Di Maria (CRY) (10.1) Sanchez (swa) (10.7) Hazard (liv) (10.0) Downing (AVL) (5.8)
Pelle (LEI) (8.4) Berahino (NEW) (6.0) Rooney (CRY) (10.2)

    Total 83.4

Berahino --> Sakho if Sakho gets fit.

Pretty happy with this myself 😛
Managed to squeeze in ADM, Sanchez, Hazard AND Rooney, so the double SOT defence has Alderweireld instead of Clyne.
No Aguero because he rarely explodes away from home. Probably a single goal, so not worth the price tag.
