After reviewing the Goalkeepers and Defenders, the third instalment in our series of Members articles looking at Fantasy consistency sees midfielders come under the microscope.

Aiming to highlight those players who week-in, week-out offer solid returns, we’ve looked at the top ten midfielders for points per game in 2010/11 and analysed their scores in terms of reliability. While the likes of Rafael Van der Vaart impresses in his debut season, there’s plenty room for Florent Malouda -despite his overall haul of 186- to improve his consistency for Chelsea this upcoming season.

My tuppence worth on people pondering over Luis Suarez... Personally I don’t think he will start. They won’t wanna rush him. They had that with Torres burnout/haircut syndrome. They don’t need to now either. Kuyt can support Carroll if need be on the day. Heck, even Ngog will get in there (as a sub) if needed with the attacking options of Downing and Adam now.

  Hey Matt, I quite like it....only things I'd change is Nalouda to Silva for GW1 then swap them back fir GW2. also concern over Droggs startin, so I'd keep close eye on that before Sat. Also would like to see Enrique to Liv a done deal before starting with him, but I'm in that boat too.

Will Lescott be dropped when Toure returns? (when does he return anyway?) I hope not. Might just switch back to Kompany if that’s the case.

  I don't think Lescott will be dropped straight away. He's been given the number 6 shirt (not sure how much to read into that), and played well end of last season. For me it's now his position to lose. I think someone on here said he returns 2nd Sept.
  
  I'm going Cole. Baines has more attacking potential but Cole will keep more clean sheets and so will outscore Baines I think. At least in the first few gameweeks.

    Got Baines in my team now but will probably change him several times before the season even starts. Picking my team this year has been a real pain in the ass!

  Expensive defense with both Vidic, Baines and Kompany. I'd downgrade Either Vidic to Baines and heavily invest in your midfield. You have no Chelsea, City or Liverpool attacking coverage. I'd upgrade Hoolahan and figure out a 2-man rotation for Taarabt/Sinclair/Moses/O'Hara, upgrading the other two with leftover funds and defensive downgrades.
