After reviewing the Goalkeepers and Defenders, the third instalment in our series of Members articles looking at Fantasy consistency sees midfielders come under the microscope.

Aiming to highlight those players who week-in, week-out offer solid returns, we’ve looked at the top ten midfielders for points per game in 2010/11 and analysed their scores in terms of reliability. While the likes of Rafael Van der Vaart impresses in his debut season, there’s plenty room for Florent Malouda -despite his overall haul of 186- to improve his consistency for Chelsea this upcoming season.

Flaw in new site, can't change order of subs on an iPad or iPhone, it's drag and drop to change order. I've got a month over Christmas overseas with iPad only to change team. Hope they fix it.

  Works fine for me on the iPhone mate....just hit the yellow arrow (up and down) button then the player you wanna swap and it works fine!

I'm a bit worried about gametime for Albrighton. If they play 4-4-2 he should surely play, but with 4-2-3-1 he'll compete with Agbonlahor for starts?

  You will be relying exclusively on clean sheet points as he almost never scores, assists or get bonuses. Personally I think that he peaked last season and with a less defensive-minded manager, will not be as good a prospect this season.

  Hughes is a one-dimensional defender and won't get you anything more than the cleansheet points, which don't stick out (to me) in the first 5 fixtures: AST wol new BLA MCY...

  He's a good shout allright. Worth backing for in the short term. Senderos could start at the back too for Fulham (with Hughes /Hangelaand), and he's 4.5 cheaper... see how de first couple of game weeks pan out.

    well he's a punt of course but Martinez bigged him up, he'll replace N'Zog, he's fast with an eye for goal, he's playing great in pre-season and their early fixtures couldn't be better
    
    and you'll find very few people who think there's a better player for the money

    He's bagged a few goals in pre season, and seems to be the replacement for N'Zogbia in the Wigan side. Oh, and he's only 5.0 - so worth a punt especially if you're trying to save a few quid.

Hrmmm... so many unasnwered questions and things to mull over. My team is a bit cobbled together as I am looking to Aguero, Suarez and possibly Sneijder as and when they are nailed on. I really am having trouble workig out what to do in the mean time though.

        That's the prob... Drog, Nani & Malouda in gw1 but no-one can guess what's gonna happen in gw2. I think I have to look for safety at the start and guild from there.

    Seriously, I am happy for you Doos but I am seeming to have so many difficulties in balancing risk of rotation and price. Malouda and Nani... wtf? Neither nailed on but both/one looking like they should be in everyone's teams.
    
    RVP & Roon at 12.0m... good value or will Bent do it?
    
    I could go on but won't. I really need some insperation.
    
    That said, that's what's made this season's pricing great 🙂

      I'm pretty confident Bosingwa will start over either Alex or Ivanovic tbh. At least for the 1st week or 2 anyway, more if he proves himself in those.
      He's been playing quite a bit in preseason, the other 2 are just as doubtful (as is Luiz) and at 5.5 I definitely think he's worth a pop..

        The thing to remember is that it's not all about gw1. You have to look at the long term. I don't understand anyone who is getting a player in for gw1 and then planning to transfer out in gw2 or 3.
