After reviewing the Goalkeepers and Defenders, the third instalment in our series of Members articles looking at Fantasy consistency sees midfielders come under the microscope.

Aiming to highlight those players who week-in, week-out offer solid returns, we’ve looked at the top ten midfielders for points per game in 2010/11 and analysed their scores in terms of reliability. While the likes of Rafael Van der Vaart impresses in his debut season, there’s plenty room for Florent Malouda -despite his overall haul of 186- to improve his consistency for Chelsea this upcoming season.

      get rid of carroll and perhaps malouda. VDV and Bent would do much better. Just my opinion though 🙂

        I wouldnt touch VDV at the moment as he is injured and wouldnt want to lose chelsea cover. Bent is a possible though

    I'm loving the fact that only 1.9% of people have picked Moses and basically everyone on here has him in their team.

    I really do think he will score a couple and get a couple of assists in the first 3 fixtures alone. Or it could be a disaster....

      At 5.0 there really isnt any risk tho, I mean we all need a cheap Midfielder and he has the greatest potential and the best pre-season form.

          I have him over Nani at the mo but I also have Malouda. My reckoning is that both Nani & Mal will be rotated but Silva won't so will go with him for safety & fixtures.

            Being a Chelsea fan, I think we should play Malouda (left) Drogba (center) and Sturridge (right) (when he's back, 3 games I think) but maybe that's just me. Sturridge was immense in pre-season, even if it was against Kitchee lol

      Play Silva and see how Nasri fits in. Silva will still be their playmaker and Nas will still be out on the wing, no matter how good he is. That said Nasri does look attractive depending.

      last time luiz was played was against man utd at the end of last season. since then he sat on the bench for the whole copa america and has had 30mins training with chelsea, so no match time all summer

        Snieder was one of Intes main men. He will be a must if going to Man U and a starter for sure. He will get picked up by allot of people if transfered.

          Carrick was a starter for United last season and he didn't score or assist so that's not really relevant. And he was one of inter's main men by pulling all the strings from the midfield, not by scoring and assisting every game.
