After reviewing the Goalkeepers and Defenders, the third instalment in our series of Members articles looking at Fantasy consistency sees midfielders come under the microscope.

Aiming to highlight those players who week-in, week-out offer solid returns, we’ve looked at the top ten midfielders for points per game in 2010/11 and analysed their scores in terms of reliability. While the likes of Rafael Van der Vaart impresses in his debut season, there’s plenty room for Florent Malouda -despite his overall haul of 186- to improve his consistency for Chelsea this upcoming season.

      I am, but its a punt, my thinking is United's games are tough and I don't want too much money in them, but if them get a lot he should get something and i expect him to get minutes... hmm, not sure, trying to convince myself really.

          I'm in Chiswick and it hasn't hit here yet but I've heard the 16,000 police force out tonight are keeping it pretty quiet.

          I went to Richmond and saw a couple smashed windows but the police were all over it instantly.

          Should be over for the capital. Let's hope things calm down elsewhere in the country.

      I think somebody said Thursday but tbh if a riot breaks out near a stadium Friday night or Saturday morning I'd still expect it to be called off if it poses a risk to fans etc

              Hmm well bramble offers chance of goals whereas brown offers chances of assists I suppose, still I don't see anyone else playing RB whereas CB there are choices and thus rotation :/

              I assume Oshea wouldn't have been signed unless they intended to play him same with Brown....

              Tbh I think Bardsley will hold onto his LB role and we know he's proven at getting attacking points, Ive just gone for Brown for price and I think he has best chance of starting

        Bent->Drogba

        with enough spare cash to do Silva->Malouda for GW2

        This 2nd option gives me an option to captain drogba, but am concerned about his starting role...

              Yeah, regular starts are a big issue.

              That said: I like his price; his opening fixtures, 1-4; and the fact that he seems the most productive. Sturridge is suspended, Torres isn't in scoring form, and AVB will be looking for goals.

              I'll be looking for team news here most eagerly.

      It's good but little to no attacking threat from your defence. Any chance of getting someone with a bit of goal threat (Huth, Lescott, Ivanovic, Johnson, even BIG Chris)??

            His fixtures up to the United game in GW9 are fine. Home games against Swansea, Wigan, Everton and Villa. Away games at Fulham, Tottenham, Blackburn and Bolton. That is a good start IMO

              His fixtures are fine. I just dont think hes a great FPL player for 9.5M. Which is why I'd take Kuyt at home to Sunderland over Silva home to Swansea.

      I like it. O'Hara could be a real pick this season i think, but hughes isnt guaranteed as many clean sheets as in the past under Jol and they;ve shown pre season they will concede, otherwise its good.

            like drogs and carroll up front it has to be said. ohara one of my faves from last season so cant disagree with that and the constraints we have with funds....nzogbia is the quiery for me, his record is fair enough and am sure he'll come thro for the villa jus not sure at that price at a new club he'll do it straight away but nevertheless fixtures wise it cant really be argued with imo
