It’s “squeaky bum time” in the ScoutCast studio as Granville continues to chip away at my previously “unassailable” mini-league lead. My co-host stumbled through an injury-strewn Gameweek 12 with the honours, leaving me trailing and worrying that he’ll have clawed it all back by Christmas.

Pressing on, we flog the Hazard vs Fabregas debate once again and run the rule over a cast of budget strikers, desperately searching for the optimum way to spend the two transfers burning holes in our pockets.

We asses the week’s transfer bandwagons, look ahead to Gameweek 13 and take time out to tease Jonty on his Di Maria u-turn. We then combine “powers” to terrifying effect and prepare the ScoutCast XI for their Fantasy Football Scout Cup qualifying round, having flexed its muscles to the tune of a 59-point Gameweek 12. Intimidating stuff.

      Supposedly takes 2 weeks which would be today. Martinez said he'd seen him come back from the same injury in 8 days which is why he had a small chance to play last week. If there's no added problems he should have a good chance v spurs.

    Welbeck still worth a look?

    2 from 3 of Giroud, Sanchez and Welbeck if Arsenal carry on playing 442 it seems. 7.2 for an Arsenal striker is good value but rotation is a worry now.

        I wouldn't be doubling though unfortunately. Can't really see a way in for Sanchez. My mid is a bit of a wreck. Missing Fabs, Hazard, Di Maria, Sanchez.

      Thanks all.

      I'm shipping the Southampton assets (Pelle and Tadic) and Di Maria and Welbeck looks a better option than Rooney and Chadli at the moment.

      I already have Siggy and Downing so the other cheap mid options are a bit thin.

    Assuming he's not fit Chadli to whom for a -4 and budget of 8.4?

    I don't think I can trust Spurs / Eriksen and seems little else in that price bracket. I'm still considering Sterling given his next 3 fixtures (STO lei SUN) and surely Liverpool have to improve soon? Alternative is to rely on Boyd on my bench.

        Haha. Tbh I haven't checked out his underlying stats but Hazard - 4 goals 2 assists, Oscar - 3 goals 3 assists. £1.5m difference as well, I could draft in a Chelsea defender and have Oscar. Something to think about...
