Newcastle have worries in defence as they head to Burnley. Arsenal have concerns at left-back for the home clash against Southampton, who are set to be without Morgan Schneiderlin. Enner Valencia returns as the Hammers head to the Hawthorns, Yun Suk-Young could be poised to recover for QPR, whilst Stoke have a midfield headache ahead of their visit to Old Trafford.

Wojciech Szczesny remains sidelined for Arsenal’s home clash with Southampton. Arsene Wenger has also confirmed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal are all doubts, though hopes to have one of the latter two available to feature at left-back.

Morgan Schneiderlin has been ruled out of the Emirates clash and is set for adductor scans. Jack Cork is back for Ronald Koeman’s side, though, after recovering from a weekend illness.

Mark Noble is a doubt for the Hammers’ trip to West Brom later this evening after suffering a recurrence of a calf complaint during the weekend win over Newcastle. Enner Valencia is back in the squad after missing the last two matches though injury, though fellow forward Diafra Sakho is still unavailable. Winston Reid returns after serving a one-match suspension.

Gary Monk has confirmed that Swansea have no new injury worries ahead of the home clash against QPR. Nathan Dyer is set to return to the squad after missing out at the weekend.

Steve Sidwell (knee) could be out for up to six weeks for the Potters, whilst Glenn Whelan is expected to be sidelined for a couple of weeks with a calf complaint. Phil Bardsley is back in training after recovering from the illness that forced him to miss the weekend trip to Liverpool.

Newcastle are facing a mounting injury crisis in defence for the trip to Burnley. Alan Pardew is already without Tim Krul and Fabricio Coloccini and is now sweating over the fitness of Mike Williamson, Massadio Haidara and Daryl Janmaat. With Moussa Sissoko and Jack Colback serving one-match suspensions, the Magpie manager has revealed he has included three youth team players in his matchday squad.

Sebastien Pocognoli is a doubt for West Brom after sustaining a dead leg at the weekend. James Morrison is back in training and will be assessed for the visit of West Ham.

Leicester’s David Nugent is set to be assessed after picking up an ankle problem at the weekend. The Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has also confirmed that Dean Hammond is back in training but tonight’s match is set to come too soon.

Harry Redknapp remains optimistic that Yun Suk-Young will recover from the knee knock that forced him off in the weekend win over Leicester. Bobby Zamora could also be in contention – he requires a late fitness test after missing out on Saturday with a back problem.

Mamadou Sakho is back in training for Liverpool but this evening’s trip to Leicester will come too soon. Mario Balotelli is sidelined once again with a groin injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Bench Kane or Chadli? Leaning towards benching Kane; Chadli seems to strike when you expect the least. Or a even more wild choice, bench both and play wanayama against the gunners in hope for a breach?

Thanks, D. My defense is terrible this week. Now that I've brought in someone in place of Di Maria, I have the extra money to upgrade defence but for a hit, though.

Baines seems like a no-brainer move with him at home against Hull.

This is my defence: Clyne, Hutton, Wisdom, Yun and Bruce.

There are so many things I like about this post.
      First, the oxymoron "casual rival".
Secondly, the fact you know he doesn't know there are games midweek - although this leaves me intrigued as to how you know he doesn't know which leads me on to the third aspect...
Despite knowing he doesn't know you have chosen not to inform him.

This guy constantly kept getting lucky early in the season yet knows very little about fantasy football and hence the term casual rival.
It's a few hours away from nighttime here and he hasn't made any transfer yet and hence I am guessing he doesn't know about the midweek game.

Sanchez will suffer a little if Wenger keeps up with 2 strikers. Thats just a fact. He`ll be less effective, doesn`t mean he`ll be useless as a FPL option. Baines just didn`t look 100%. No need to worry.

The 2 aren't mutually exclusive, the same is happening in reverse with Southampton players. I ditched Siggy, he didn't do much, and I've got him back for the great run. This game's all about timing, not "season-keepers".

The press treat him horrifically, as do the pundits. I remember Savage a few weeks ago complaining ALL GAME that Balotelli was just standing around, not getting involved, then he came deep, got the ball, whipped in a great cross, and Savage berated him for being there, and not in the box "on the end of his own cross" (whatever that means).

There's a worrying feeling I get from the whole saga (namely a slight xenophobia) - when Rooney comes deep and cluelessly charges around it's "great English passion".

Still think Balotelli's quality was always overrated though 😉

    Elliot (Forster)

    Clyne Wisdom Chambers Naylor (Caulker)

    Siggy Hazard ADM* Alexis (Marney)

    Rooney Austin (Costa).

    - Obviously ADM out but for who? And do I take a point hit in order to get a better prospect elsehwere?

Wouldn't surprise me, it was only a tight hammy. It didn't actually strain.
A trigger release or some acupuncture pins would have released it quickly.

Not convinced they'd risk him though

Hi Guys, my team is a shambles at the moment. Should I do A or B for -8?

    ADM, Pelle, Sakho OUT

    A) Bolasie, Aguero, Austin

    or

    B ) Hazard, Bony, Austin

Not a bad idea actually. I was worried about taking an 8 point hit but Pelle has been useless of late!

        Rest of the team if it makes a difference;

        De Gea, McCarthy
Ivanovic, Clyne, Cresswell, A Williams, Hutton
        ADM, Sterling, Siggy, Downing, Chadli
        Costa, Pelle, Sakho

Good squad, an unlucky week with ADM, Costa and Sakho out. -8 would be a risk but if you captained Bony or Haz and they scored big it could pay off. Personally I'd probs do the Haz and Austin moves

Cheers. I don't particularly like it! If I had a WC I'd ship out Clyne, ADM, Sterling, Chadli, Pelle and Sakho.

Chadli is now too expensive as a bench warmer, Sterling and Pelle have been crap for weeks now. Sakho and ADM injured. Clyne has poor fixtures.

Do you know when scout picks will be up?

So torn on Aguero v Hazard for captaincy.

Aguero's in great form, but I can't help feeling that Sunderland away is a trap game, and that Sunderland will park the bus like they did against Chelsea.

Hazard not in such great form, but always does well at home, and Spurs tend to underperform against top teams. Plus Mirallas gave Spurs the runaround from the left on Sunday.

    Tricky one.

(Re Mirallas, I mean before he went off. At that point Everton fell flat in attack).

Hey fellas, would love some help. My team is almost a disaster!

    Foster
    Azpi, Baines, Clyne, Chambers
    Fab, Siggy, Sanchez, ADM
    Austin, Pelle

    Krul, Wisdom, Costa, Al Ahamdi

1ft and 0.0k In the bank

Obviously have to move ADM on but no cash makes it hard.. Do I go a week early on Erikson? Miralles?

Your team is fine. You have lost a lost of value in ADM in the last couple of days though!

Downgrade ADM and upgrade Pelle to Aguero?
