Season Predictions – The View From The Scouts

We’re almost there. After three months, countless RMT’s (That’s Rate-My-Team for our new readers), a whole host of injury scares and the regular gamut of transfer talk, the season is now just hours away.

This means just one thing- it’s time for a host of the Fantasy Football Scout team to start off one last debate by sticking our necks on the line with predictions for the year to come. As evidenced by last year, our choices can range from the sublime to the ridiculous – let’s see how the cards fall for 2011/12…

I, Andy, kick things off by singling out teams and players I am not perhaps known for endorsing. Towing the party line, then, I’ve done everything I can to make my predictions as impartial as possible. Not believe me? Look- no Fernando Torres…

    Transferring Dzeko in for Drogba or Torres after GW1, Brunt wont be playing til GW3 when they have favourable run of fixtures and will get rid of Rodallega after his first 3 games (all promoted sides)

    if you had no subs for the season, so therefore had to keep these 3 players all season, which do you think would score more

    A) Silva, Nani, Formica
    B) Yaya, Young, Valencia

      (B) but it's a close run thing, I think Nani and Young will score in and around the same due to rotation of either, Valencia should outscore Formica, and I think YaYa and Silva will be on par too, with Silva shading it, tough one.
