With the fall-out from Sergio Aguero’s injury reverberating around the Fantasy Football community, it’s time to distract ourselves from our return to the drawing board and resume the Gameweek action.

A pair of Premier League encounters await, with events beginning at the Boleyn Ground as Swansea City clash with West Ham. A battle of two in-form teams harbouring top six ambitions, the Hammers go into this match with just one defeat in the last eight, while the Swans’ have also suffered just one setback in their previous six league outings. Fantasy managers will of course be hoping that the 50% owned Gylfi Sigurdsson can help rescue the Gameweek with midfield returns, while Wilfried Bony will likely be auditioning as the potential Sergio Aguero replacement, once the City’s striker’s prognosis is confirmed.

Later today, Villa meet Leicester City in a midlands derby that, while bereft of Fantasy talent, could yet prove of interest with Christian Benteke now presenting an option up top. The Belgian returned to the scoresheet to earn the three points at Palace in midweek and, should he also put the Foxes to the sword, there’s little doubt that Benteke will be another name considered in the light of Aguero’s injury scare.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Possibly but he is rather expensive.

      Hazard has better points per game and is cheaper.

      Yaya has better form, will be be more attacking with Aguero out & slightly better fixtures but is leaving for AFC in January.

    A) Fabianski + Siggy + Aguero -> Adrian + Yaya + Bony (-8) 0.1 ITB
    B) Boyd + Aguero -> Lukaku + Eriksen (-4) 0.0 ITB
    C) Boyd + Aguero -> Bony + Mirallas (-4) 1.4 ITB

    5 players out (Elliot, Chambers, Fabregas, Austin Aguero) + collins dropped
    2FTs
    A) Aguero & Fabregas -> Rooney & Yaya
    Means playing boyd and having no bench

    B) above plus -4 for collins/chambers/austin -> 5.4/5.7/6.9
    Bench Boyd?

    1. Heels_Over_Head
      • 12 Years

      A is likely enough unless some option emerges to replace collins or chambers that is a slam dunk winner worth -4

    With latest injuries and suspensions, i found 2 possible solutions:

    A) Aguero, eriksen, wilson --> Rooney, yaya, jenkinson
    B) Aguero, eriksen, wilson, wanyama --> Bony, yaya, cresswell, downing

  13. AH 🙂
    • 11 Years
    11 years, 2 days ago

    A) Aguero + Siggy --> Rooney + Alexis (-4)
    B) Aguero + Cattermole --> Alexis + Dzeko (-4)
    C) Aguero + Fabregas ---> Costa + Sanchez (-4)
    D) Aguero + Fabregas ---> Costa + Yaya (-4)

    Current team :
    Guzan (Krul)
    Baines , Wisdom , Azpi
    Hazard , Fabregas , Downing , Siggy (Cattermole)
    Aguero , Austin , Bony

    PICK ONE and EXPLAIN your anwser 🙂

      Took opportunity to sell Fab to Haz. Sold Chambers, too. Will sell Kun when injury news released and after Man Utd match. That will be the 3 must sells for me, and a -4 hit. Will use $ from Kun sell next week to upgrade 5th mid or defender.
