With the fall-out from Sergio Aguero’s injury reverberating around the Fantasy Football community, it’s time to distract ourselves from our return to the drawing board and resume the Gameweek action.

A pair of Premier League encounters await, with events beginning at the Boleyn Ground as Swansea City clash with West Ham. A battle of two in-form teams harbouring top six ambitions, the Hammers go into this match with just one defeat in the last eight, while the Swans’ have also suffered just one setback in their previous six league outings. Fantasy managers will of course be hoping that the 50% owned Gylfi Sigurdsson can help rescue the Gameweek with midfield returns, while Wilfried Bony will likely be auditioning as the potential Sergio Aguero replacement, once the City’s striker’s prognosis is confirmed.

Later today, Villa meet Leicester City in a midlands derby that, while bereft of Fantasy talent, could yet prove of interest with Christian Benteke now presenting an option up top. The Belgian returned to the scoresheet to earn the three points at Palace in midweek and, should he also put the Foxes to the sword, there’s little doubt that Benteke will be another name considered in the light of Aguero’s injury scare.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

NP: "Players have been waiting for opportunities. Wes being suspended and RDL being ill gives Liam and Simmo a chance." #AstLei

De Laet not in the squad due to illness - in case anybody cares.

Ten times? You're having a laugh, mate.

I agree, Cleverley is shite, but Allen isn't much better. The difference?

United grew him through their youth system.
Liverpool paid over £10million for him.

He is much better. The fact that you disagree with me doesnt mean sh*t to me. And we paid almost £15m for him, you wanna prove your ignorance some more? United didnt develop Cleverley, he was on loan most of his early carreer.

Siggy ain't done bad. He could have had more points last week vs QPR, but for Bony's misses and that Rob Green save from the FK. He's much better at home, I accept, but is he not on form or just out of luck?

Downing seems ever so slightly more reliable however, and it could probably be argued that when Siggy gets points Bony gets points. (This argument could probably be made in reverse for the other two though!)

    Hazard Sanchez Downing Siggy Boyd
    Aguero Costa Austin

Mm, it's "gathers" that maybe need adding in some form. I.e. collecting a through ball at the feet of a striker; coming out and claiming a dangerous cross; and so on. Those are as key as saves. They often prevent goal-scoring opportunities (not dissimilar to a save!).

what a GW. before I found FFS, I would have gone bonkers. now, it's just crazy exciting

Gilks (he never plays but I have no choice)
    Clyne - Az - Baines - Bertrand (4 defenders)
Downing - Bentaleb - Siggy - Sánchez (Bentaleb seems to be nailed on now)
Agüero - Bony (I buy a replacement to Agüero and play him)

Bench: Fabianski, Fàbregas and Austin (all suspended and Moore us 1st replacement).

And I use only the FT and have the three suspended players in 2 weeks (no hits).

    Yes or No?

What should be priority? Already done Chambers-->Clichy and got 1FT left. Not keen to sub out Fab as I'd only get 9.4 for him. Dawson didn't play last game and my sub keeper is no use to me.

    Fabianski*, Gilks
    Duff*, Dawson*, Wisdom, Clichy, Azpil,
    Fab*, Chadli, Siggy, Wanyama, Sanchez,
    Austin*, Aguero*, Costa

If i don't use my wildcard, will i essentially have two in the january window? Or does one go away if unused? Thanks

You need to use 1 in Jan window, the other is available anytime.

If you don't use 1 in Jan window then that 1 is lost.

you have one in Jan and one to use whenever

very useful if you can save for a late season game week (usually between 30 & 33) when a bunch of big clubs have double game weeks... can really help boost you up the table if done right

Phew. thanks Ulloa. My mate had both Hutton and Guzan (and is lurking behind me by a point), yet I have Hutton first on bench with Rooney to play.
