All the top scorers come from Bolton (what a miserly week, eh?) and then Aguero scores 2 and gets an assist in 30 minutes.

This one wouldn't even sneak under Helen Keller's radar now. Alas.

She's busy trying to transfer him in on an Etch-A-Sketch now.

      Poor thing.

Anyroad, surely the one 'must have' uber-essential player now is
      Aguero
      Silva
      Vorm

Leighton Baines - there must be a double GW on the horizon.

I have three of the four and downgraded Silva for Yaya da Bull. He's certain to either sort out that final third touch or trick some sleepy defender with his fake strained hamstring rope-a-dope.

This site isn't looking like it has some of the best FPL players in recent years posting their expertise opinions at the moment i must say...

Aguero does look the part, but with such an easy opponent, that had been mentally and physically broken down before he even entered the pitch, I just think it's quite amazing everyone is bringing him in without even giving it a second thought.

Mancini even said in the post match intervju that he needs time to get to full fitness and get used to playing with a squad he is still quite unfamiliar with.

And why on earth is everyone basing their decisions on just one performance in the first game of the season?? All of a sudden, Nani has been forgotten just because Young gets a lucky deflection, while he was an absolute MUST a week ago...

Wouldn't it also be smarter to take time to consider the fact that, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool already 2 points behind their rivals, we might see some real attacking play from them the next week? Like, I said, Aguero might well become a huge fantasy prospect, but I don't think the chances of him starting on the bench again next week and the likes of Malouda or RVP scoring a brace next week are any smaller.

Its the normal way of things! Remember last year when Chelsea won 6-0 and everybody thought Drogba would get 40 goals!

For me the most encouraging thing tonight was when City scored, Mancini took off a def mfer for a striker! If he is that positive all season, City players could be worth having! But if they go to Bolton set up defensively..hmm

Great to see DS continuing his great end of season form from last year AND get a tangible reward too! He only scored 4 in the FPL last year I think...

I liked that too, and he's finally got the picture with interchanging Strikers as wingers and mixing the midfield bubble around to the point where the defending midfielders get mismatched at the start of the build-up and leave gaps all up and down the channel. Man United was making the same mistakes, but it seemed like Silva was hesitant to turn and face with DeJong only.

Rodwell will nibble the final third, he's nowhere near to having his sea legs to a proper go in the channel. Osman, dare I say another fixture proof baller. Gueye is out for probably months with a foot injury. So with Bily out as well lets hope they push Rodwell up and let Fellaini start it up in the back. But seeing Rodwell with his attacking mid chances last year and in the pre, I'm not very positive on him.

I have them both, between the two of them they will probably boss almost ALL the deliveries...WITHOUT even coming close to position redundancy. 15 mil well spent...with no Arteta, a virtually dependent Cahill, no Gueye, the skill level drops off after that.

I somehow got on on saturday morning to change Kuyt and Dzeko to Carroll and Silva and at the last minute captained Silva over RVP. Very happy with that, although I did consider Dzeko and Silva at the same time, only to change it because Andy Carroll would be the better LONG TERM OPTION. I have no right to be aggrieved but rightfully am.

This is your second WUM/Haterade sippage of Swansea, you must be a Cardiff fan. They had a lot of shots yeah but guess who had the possession. They looked to have slightly impatient build-ups at times with too few people to support in attack. they have some decent pieces, just wondering why you're not so hard on QPR?

    Enrique + Modric/Bale

    or

    Wes Brown + Downing?

consider spurs DGW & the way bonus points might work? any thoughts?

You'll learn the hard way. It only goes downhill for Andy after Wes Brown. I can see you begging for set-pieces already, that's no way to live mate.

Arsenal is a bit tighter in the back with plenty of size.

        Johan Djourou- 6'4"

        Thomas Vermaelen-6'1"

        Koscielny-6'2"

He's an easy scout. And will be lucky if he plays 70 minutes.
