As if out of sympathy for the Fantasy Premier League, or podcast recording software crashed at the death this week. Finished. Kaput.

Panic ensued – hands on head there were cries of “I can’t go through that again” from host Mark as I desperately attempted to recover our lost words. Luckily, temporary files restored, our fifty fourth episode was rescued and rebuilt like Ledley King’s knee. Hopefully it won’t collapse again next week – like Ledley King’s knee.

Within it you’ll find unusually muted tones as Mark and I dissect the events or rather “non-events” of the weekend. Frustrations vented, this week’s broadcast picks up to its usual pace and departs on an optimistic note.

              Anchovey's a bit of a dodgy pick and Pineapple shouldn't even be on the pitch !
              I like Prawn, he's a bit of an exotic player but once again, he may well upset the salad dressing room.

              Apart from that I like it.

      Bench is too weak.

      Hilario doesn't give you any goal threat, even a Chelsea defender would give some attacking potential. Plus you'll have to sub him out at some point and I'm not sure it's worth spending a for-real transfer on your keeper.

      You can see PPI scores for everyone on the Transfers - select it from the drop down box that has Goals / assists / BP etc

            Ah, fair enough. That said, if he's even mostly fit and Everton are keen to get off to a better start than they usually manage then Arteta isn't a bad captain, unless he plays for 10 minutes then breaks, ends up out for the entire season..........only to bought and captained by me GW1 next season.

      Aguero has, or surely will, be signed by most who want him. With two away games and Mancini's prediliction for conservative football then it's easy to see him starting a couple of games on the bench and being used as an impact sub for a few weeks, I'm not sure there's value in him at the moment.

      Depends what you want. Gibbs is top 4 team starter but is injured.
      Jags/Distin for 5.5 Everton coverage
      Cahill who can bend them in like it's nothing 😉
      Hughes for cheap Fulham coverage, but won't score many (I think)
      Bosingwa for a few GWs for Chelsea and attacking full back coverage purposes 😀

      Would swap given for schwarzer (good rotation with hilario), then when cech comes back can swap hil for vorm who rotates well with schwarzer also. Means you don't have to dismantle your team to get rotating keepers when cech comes back
