As if out of sympathy for the Fantasy Premier League, or podcast recording software crashed at the death this week. Finished. Kaput.

Panic ensued – hands on head there were cries of “I can’t go through that again” from host Mark as I desperately attempted to recover our lost words. Luckily, temporary files restored, our fifty fourth episode was rescued and rebuilt like Ledley King’s knee. Hopefully it won’t collapse again next week – like Ledley King’s knee.

Within it you’ll find unusually muted tones as Mark and I dissect the events or rather “non-events” of the weekend. Frustrations vented, this week’s broadcast picks up to its usual pace and departs on an optimistic note.

Listen in and share our pain.

Apologies for the RMT but its my first one all summer 🙂

    Given (Vorm..hero!!)
    Baines Cole Lescott (Simpson, Brown)
    Moses Yaya Sinclair Sessegnon (Taarabt)
    Torres Bent Holt

Is it a bit heavy in defence but I'll be going Baines -> Enrique for gwk 6 and Torres -> Aguero gwk 4..

    Distin, Ramires, Hoilett

None in my team but a couple of quid with paddy. You heard it here first.

    Bosingwa, Cahill and Bent

    OR

    Cole, Silva and Saha

Problem with the first one is Bosingwa not guaranteed to start, and would give me Bent and N'Zogbia. Two offencive Villa players might be one too many. Though I do not know who else to go with for 7.5.

Problem with the second one is, no Bent. Got a feeling he will do well.

He isn't a bad idea. On Pens, Free kicks and some corners, assists galore and some goals. I dare you to think on a midfielder for the same price who offers that.

Opinions would be appreciated, as this free wild card has thrown a spanner in the works!

Worried about Jags - e might be going to Arsenal this weekend...
Malouda is a rotation risk according to the folks here...
Aguero is not match fit according to Mancini so he may not play 90

      the other team....

Hilario will probably be in fora couple of weeks... 2 or 3 GWs but no more so have a strategy for getting rid of him.

Baines... 🙂 I've struggled, but *personally* have decided that the uncertainty over Jags means he's not worth it. Just a personal preference.

Cahill, Yaya and rooney are great choices.

I'd go with team 2 but I'm stepping away from Baines ( might regret it... going with Cole).

... if Jags moves, Everton lose their best defender (imho). That means less clean sheets for Baines. Arteta is back also so there is a question mark over free kicks and pens... so basically, with all that risk... I'm not convinced Baines is worth the 8.0 mil price tag.
