Before we draw a line firmly under the first Gameweek, we’ve decided to analyse some individual performances over the weekend. By looking at the Opta stats of Fernando Torres, we can see what his Sunday showing at the Britannia offered in comparison to his average displays for the Blues last term. The same applies to Robin Van Persie- no goals from the Dutchman at St James on Saturday night, but how did his game hold up?

In this first Members article of the active Fantasy season, we also take a look at Victor Moses and Ashley Young’s Man United league debut, weighing up what the pair’s new roles this season have offered so far…

Can't quite believe I've made 20 subs already. Compulsive fiddling.

Ok, what's anyone's thoughts on this:
    Hilario (Vorm)
    Kompany Senderos Jagielka Woodgate (Simpson)
Moses Silva Lampard (Surman - Cheapo Ferguson)
    Torres Aguero Suarez

    0.5 mil in the bank.

I have changed this team so many times.

Could someone please tell me where I might be going wrong?

    Give (Ruddy)

Bosingwa Senderos Enrique Brown De Laet

    YaYa Young Sessegnon Moses Hoolahan

    Rooney Torres Suarez

(I plan to join the Agguero band wagon when he is more proven).

Kun is still not proven in my mind, he looked fabulous last week vs, swansea, who were two nil down with 25 to go - he should be nailing teams like that at £38m. Lets see what happens on Sunday at Bolton when Cahill kicks lumps out of him they will be very physical - not even sure Kun starts tbh, Mankni said he is still not 100% fit, and he may choose Dzeko up front with 5 in midfield. Ageuro is v. strong, but nt proven as yet, more to show us, Bent is nailed on for goals this weekend at home and is proven & cheaper!

For this weekend, very. For the season, it's his shirt to lose.

Smalling is nailed on at right back for some time now, Rafa is out for 10 wks - he reads the game well, gets forward, scores goals, comfortable in possession, his only short point is the injury to vidic / Rio and the GK not having much confidence. United will turn into a we'll score more goals than you this season, vs, the clean sheet brigade we have seen in the past. Caught between a rock and a hard place for this one - challenging!
